RAPEY LOOKING WIKILEAKS FOUNDER CLEARED OF RAPE CHARGES

August 24 2010

Stockholm, Sweden – Secrets are a part of human culture. Some would argue that secrets are in fact a fundamental part of the human experience, both in the keeping of them and in the uncovering of them. That vast majority of secrets are of course wikileaks logo
personal, whose dating who and the like, but some secrets are much bigger and much more important than such trifling concerns. Many of those deep secrets are held not by individuals but by governments and corporations and are often the bread and butter behind their survival.

Some of those secrets are important and should likely remain veiled but others simply exist to perpetuate business as usual and often end up hurting ordinary people. History is replete with secrecy causing real world damage and even in recent times incidents like Bhopal or the recent Gulf oil spill have given us harsh reminders of the damage secrets can cause. One organization has sought to change all of that in recent years and been quite successful at bringing secrets to the forefront. Wikileaks has specialized in uncovering documents companies and governments would rather keep secret and in the process made found Julian Assange the most famous whistleblower in history. That has also made him a target of nefarious intents from the same secretive organizations he is uncovering, and julain assange wikileaks
incidents like the recently dropped rape charges show that it’s not only his rapey face that’s going to get him in trouble going forward.

“We were warned on the 11th [of August] by Australian intelligence that we should expect this sort of thing. We were warned about dirty tricks and specifically that they would be of a type like this. It is clearly a smear campaign ... the [rape] accusation was withdrawn six hours later. The only question is who was involved,” Assange told Al-Jazeera. “We can have some suspicions about who would benefit, but without direct evidence I would not be willing to make a direct allegation. This is the first sexual related we've had, but we have seen 14 fabricated documents, for example, that have appeared in various places about this organisation which have been shown to be clear fakes.”julian assange

Assange, and Australian national, was charged with the rape and molestation of two women in Sweden, Wikileaks home base. A Swedish court tossed the charges.

“This is the type of thing that happens to whistleblowers. They find bullets in their mailboxes and dead dogs on their porches. That has always been the case and likely always will be. There is a very good reason they have to work so hard to uncover these secrets, because people have worked hard to keep them and they are going to get angry when they are revealed,” said Scrape TV Business analyst Ken Green. “I’m actually surprised that he hasn’t seen more efforts like this already. He has done a lot of harm to a lot of people and that isn’t going to make him any friends anywhere.”

Assange has publicly stated that he believes the Pentagon is involved. Wikileaks has had a number of military-related releases in recent months.julian assange

“The problem as well is that the guy looks a little like a molester. I mean looks aren’t everything and he could be a perfectly nice and law abiding person in real life but he sure doesn’t look it. I would let him near my kids, that’s for sure,” continued Green. “They should really have chosen a harder target than Assange. I get that most computer guys are a little on the rapey side to begin with but they could have had a face that would have given them a stronger public profile. Besides the public relations value in that, he’s really going to have a lot of trouble molesting anyone anymore.”

Assange was reportedly seen walking into a women’s washroom in Stockholm though he exited quickly and stated that it was all a misunderstanding.
