RISE IN LAKE TAHOE TEMPERATURE PROMPTS BATTLE TO INSTALL MASSAGING JETS

Lake Tahoe, California – While there continues to be an ongoing to debate about the nature and cause of global climate change, there are few people who would argue that something is happening. Rising temperatures, dying sea coral, eroding glaciers
are all signs that our planet is undergoing some kind of dramatic environmental alteration. What the long term effects of those change might be are still up for debate, and what our role in those changes might be is still nebulous at best, but there is little doubt that the world we are entering will be a different one from what we have become accustomed.
Scientists and environmentalists have understandably created doomsday scenario from these environmental changes and while some of those eventualities are certainly possible, even likely, in the short term the increasing warmth of the globe has had unexpected positive side effects. Things like warmer winters bring great fears to those watching the future, but for ordinary people, millions of whom suffer through months of cold and snow, the warming conditions are a welcome respite. That is one small example of how the growing warmth of the planet has altered out lives for the better, and in Lake Tahoe, one more dramatic example of the benefits of growing temperatures is on display as companies lobby to be the first to install massaging jets in the ever warmer body of water.
“Over the last 25 years we have been seeing a dramatic increase in the temperatures 
of Lake Tahoe and other bodies of water throughout the area. While this is certainly a strong indicator that global warming is happening in this area and around the planet, such grand concerns are not for us to determine,” said a spokesperson for the government of the City of Lake Tahoe. “Our immediate concern is the financial well being of the area. The Lake Tahoe area draws a large number of tourists every year but with the increasing temperatures of the lake we are seeing equivalent growth in traffic and we want to ensure that we are doing all we can to keep those people happy.”
At least seven companies in California have applied for permits to install new whirlpool jets in the lake via a revolutionary technique.
“We feel firmly that this is the greatest opportunity to come along in the whirlpool 
industry since the J-300. This is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of opportunity that our company above all others is perfectly positioned to take a leadership position,” said a spokesperson for Jacuzzi. “Our company has always been the leader in this industry and we feel that our revolutionary new jets and pumps are the future of whirlpools and are a perfect fit for Lake Tahoe. Too long have whirlpools been the privilege of a limited few. By bringing this technology to the masses in this way we can not only secure a strong future for our company, but also bring the joy of Jacuzzi to everyone.”
Jacuzzi is considered the leading contender for the job.
“There is certainly a lot of reason to be concerned about the changes in our environment and the massive alterations that are occurring however that doesn’t mean that we have to stop enjoying life. The reality is there really isn’t a planet worth preserving if we can’t enjoy it and so we need to embrace some of these changes,” said Scrape TV Environmental analyst Tanner King. “That doesn’t mean we should ignore these problems and we shouldn’t allow such leisure activities to interfere with the fight against environmental decay, but such fights don’t mean that we have to stop living our lives. I know I’m going to make a trip down there when the jets are installed.”
Another company, Scents of California, is apparently the leading contender for placing bubble bath in the lake.
