THOUSANDS OF CHINESE WORKERS MAKING THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE FOR IPHONES

August 17 2010

Beijing, China – The world has never been fair and never will be. Some would have us believe that someday our planet will be some kind of utopia where people never fight and where distasteful acts and tasks never occur. While we are certainly much garbage man
improved over the world our ancestors lived in, even recent ancestors, we still live in a class-based system. Compensation for tasks such as garbage collection or human waste disposal has certainly improved, but those tasks will never get better than what they are and the need for them will never expire.

Because of that reality society will always be tiered. There will always be people forced to do menial jobs and those people will be paid little money so that they will be compelled to continue doing them because with those jobs being done society will, simply, fall apart. As much as we might sneer at those tasks, as much as we might dismiss the people who perform those jobs, it is their shoulders on which society is based. Many of those jobs exist in western countries but in the ever expanding global economy a great number of them have been passed on, primarily to China, where workers slave away to produce our consumer goods. Now a new study has shown just how much dedication the people of China have to supporting the global economy with about 600,000 people dying every year making electronic goods.foxconn worker ipod

“The people of China are proud to be a part of the global community. We have strived for a great many years to be an active and valued member of the world community and our contribution to the planet is now being recognized,” said a spokesperson for the Chinese government. “We are proud to sacrifice these lives to the betterment of all mankind. The working people of China are proud of their works and proud to make a valued and revered contribution to western culture. This is our gift to the west and to the world.”

In addition to many suicides at facilities producing products for Apple and Microsoft thousands more have been sacrificed while at their work stations, falling off their stools bleeding from their nose and anus.

“Having something, anything, made in China has become a running gag for a long time foxconn workers tired
but the reality is that despite any potential weakness or disparity in the product in order for our economy to behave in the way it does we need to have products made overseas. Twenty-five dollar DVD players don’t make themselves,” said Scrape TV Business analyst Ken Green. “That in turn has allowed the economy of China to surge and become the second largest in the world. That’s really a remarkable achievement considering where the country was even a hundred years ago. Realistically it was a backwater and now it is a major military and economic power rivalling even the great dynasties of the past and that is due in large part to cheap labour costs.”

China’s economy just recently passed Japan to become number two to the United States.

“Look, it’s sad when people collapse at their work stations after spending 20 hours paris hilton with iphone
building PlayStations. It’s terrible that they are forced to live in campuses and never have the chance to see their families. It’s almost tragic when they work for 15 straight hours and only earn fifty cents but without them we wouldn’t have cheap keyboards and iPhones. It’s even possible that things like iPhones wouldn’t be made at all due to cost,” continued Green. “The sacrifice that these people are making is something westerners have been doing for centuries and while it may be sad on the surface the ultimate goal, providing the west with luxury items, is being achieved and in the end that is what’s really important.”

Most facilities throughout the country have recently cut wages and reduced sponge baths (there are no showers) to twice a week which is expected to bring prices down on many goods.
