DEATH AVOIDANCE INCREASES AS FUNERAL COSTS SKYROCKET

October 27 2011

London, U.K. – No one wants to die, but everyone will. That has been fairly standard knowledge for the last two million years or so. We are born, we age, and we die. That is the pattern of life that, whether or not we like it, seems to play out across all forms of life on planet Earth and something we simply have to deal with. Unfortunately, death never seems to end with death.grim reaper

Aside from the emotional issues revolving around death, there are significant financial concerns in respect to the process. In recent years those concerns have increased dramatically, at least 61% in the last seven years making death an increasingly expensive, and unattainable, proposition for the majority of people. That in turn has left a lot of people with massive debt and an increased will to hang on until the very last moment possible no matter the pain and suffering involved.

“Many people are sleepwalking into a financial nightmare, leaving end-of-life plans to their families, the state or no one at all.As a nation we need a wake-up call,” said Simon Cox of Sun Life Financial. “Our research indicates that although there is indeed openness to talking about death, action is still greatly lacking. Steps need to be taken to avert the sort of distress and concern experienced by the nearly one-in-five people who struggle with funeral costs.”

Associated research also indicated that deaths throughout England and Wales was at an all time low, indicating that the financial pressures are forcing more and more people to hang on to the bitter end.funeral

“This has been one of the least spoke about issues over the last few years, but it is one that most people are going to have to deal with no matter how much they try to avoid it. I think the assumption of most people is that that will simply work itself out and they worry about other plans, but this is a financial investment,” said Scrape TV Economic analyst Michael Santino. “This isn’t something that is just sprung on you. You know it’s coming, like it or not, and it is something you need to deal with in advance.”

Death rates have similarly decreased across the western world, tied directly to increased funeral costs in those countries as well.

“Eventually we are all going to have to pay for this. The cost of dealing with deal is only increasing and the longer people stay alive the more it is going to cost in the future. If they were using that time to build up their finances, work out the dollars that would be one thing, but most people aren’t. They are just lying around getting sicker and sicker,” continued Santino. “It would be best for most of these people who are just hanging on to just get it over with, take the hit while it’s still cheap. There is no evidence that the costs are going to decrease anytime soon.”

The costs increases have affected all forms for body disposal.gold coffin

“Things don’t just magically get better, that’s not the way it works. The money situation is only going to get worse as time goes on and these people who think they are saving their loved ones from financial stresses are actually not doing them any favours,” continued Santino. “People won’t be able to hold on forever and that is just a simple reality. They are going to have to die eventually and that means they need to start planning now, for the future and for their families.”

Deaths are expected to explode in the next ten years, as are costs.
