G.E. CLAIMS NUCLEAR PROGRAM IS PEACEFUL IN NATURE

August 27 2011

New York, NY – There was a time when paranoia over nuclear weapons caused real world damage, where the threat of nuclear apocalypse was actually far more dangerous than the actual threat. Now though the threat is larger than ever, with nuclear weapons in nearly a dozen nations and more and more countries seeking the technology all the time. The real threat is now, yet fear is at an all time low.ge logo

True, people are concerned about the acquisition of nukes by Iran, but they are hardly hiding under their desks at school or installing air raid sirens. For many the fear of nuclear proliferation is almost an abstract, an intellectualism that has no real importance in their everyday lives. That, however, may be changing.

A recent application by General Electric has revealed a robust and advanced nuclear program already in production, with experts already on payroll and uranium enrichment well under way. In many ways the company which has put electronics into homes for more than a hundred years is much closer to a bomb than the nation of Iran, and many are concerned as to what they intend to do with all that power.

“We are close, very close actually. The centrifuges are running and once we clear a couple of legal issues things will begin in earnest. We are very happy with the progress and very soon we will be ready to go,” said a GE insider. “There are lots of nuclear plant
reasons to enrich uranium and we have a lot of them. We feel that this is the next step in our evolution as a company and that it will serve us well going forward. These efforts are solely for peaceful purposes.”

The company plans to use lasers to enrich uranium, a process which many observers will only make fissile material more readily available to more people.

“This is a sensible step for our company and we are pursuing these efforts with due diligence. Many people have questioned our need for enrichment, but we feel that if other companies are able to have this technology then we should be allowed as well,” continued the insider. “We have no intentions outside the peaceful use of nuclear material. It is strictly for power generation and will not be used for any other purposes.”

A number of Russian experts have been hired by the company in recent months, though they claim those hiring’s have nothing to do with the nuclear program.  ge washing machine

“There really is only one reason to have the bomb. There is no militaristic advantage, at least offensively, with nukes anymore. They are really a negotiating tool rather than a viable weapon but that can be as problematic as anything,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “One has to wonder why a company that has so much would try to get into this expensive and risky business. There are already a number of uranium enrichment facilities around the United States and there really is no need for another, unless they have other plans. That has to be a major concern, especially considering all the tax problems GE has had recently. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a major nuclear concern much closer than Iran in the near future if this goes forward.”

U.S. military vehicles have recently been seen outside G.E.  Headquarters tossing eggs at the walls.
