INVESTIGATORS HUNT POSSIBLE ALIEN ABDUCTIONS FROM CRUISE SHIPS
September 27 2011
London, U.K. – Everyone loves a mystery, except people who are caught up in one. For at least 165 people over the last few years a mystery is exactly what they have in their lives, mysteries they undoubtedly would like to have completely excised being that they involve the disappearance of loved ones.
John Halford and Rebecca Coriam aren’t names that stand out to the lay person but to their families, and the cruise industry, they are very much on their minds. They are just two of 165 people who have mysteriously vanished from cruise ships since 1995. Gone, vanished without a trace, and the mystery is starting to spread.
At least 13 people have vanished from various cruise ships this year, a marked increase over previous years, wrapping a new batch of families up in a mystery and an industry in a tight spot. Now though a new theory has emerged that places the blame for the disappearances on either a series of serial killings, accidents, or abductions by aliens.
“There are a number of things that can happen on these cruises. These are really just floating cities, there are so many people on them. Anything could happen. A person could be murdered and then tossed overboard and it would be hard to find the body, or it could be something else,” said a cruise line insider. “We do have security though and we would usually notice a body overboard. That’s where the whole man overboard thing comes from. So that really puts us at a loss and indicates that something else is going on.”
Some have speculated that the missing people simply chose to disappear, perhaps absconding with someone they met on the cruise, but few families want to hear that.
“It would be obviously difficult to prove but we are working on the theory that it is something not unlike the Bermuda Triangle, possibly involving aliens. We have great security but they are not equipped to deal with alien abductions, sorry to say, and that isn’t likely to change anytime in the future. We just don’t know how aliens work,” continued the insider. “We have more or less ruled out being tossed or falling overboard and so that leaves us with this one option and it is something with which we cannot deal right now. We want to, no one wants to risk being abducted by alien creatures while on vacation, but we are currently at a loss as to what to do. We will solve it eventually though.”
Many of the missing have been British. It’s not clear if that is coincidence or if alien visitors are aimply anglophiles.
“Personally I have been on a number of cruises over the last few years and always enjoyed myself, but given this information I am going to be a little hesitant the next time we decide on what to do for a vacay. I have no interest in being abducted by anyone, aliens or human, which trying to relax,” said Scrape TV Business analyst Ken Green. “Unfortunately that is something the industry is going to have to combat, this perception that going on a trip means you will vanish off the face of the Earth. That really isn’t a strong selling point and will only keep people away from cruises on the whole, the last thing they need in this economy. Hopefully they get it worked out.”
Cruise-related disappearances are amongst the highest per capita in the world.
