PEOPLE EAT RECORD AMOUNT OF GARBAGE FROM MCDONALD’S AS COMPANY HITS REVENUE HIGH

January 25 2012

Oak Brook, IL – It’s been a bad few years for just about everyone running a business, regardless of the field. Things are starting to improve though, business are getting their feet under them again, and people are starting to go back to work all over the world. That means recovery, real recovery, from the brink of what could have been a total meltdown.mcdonalds headquarters

Leading the way to that recovery had been McDonald’s which just announced record global revenues, pulling in $27 billion, capping nine years of revenue growth even through difficult times.

Much of that growth has been from its ever-increasing global reach which has seen the company open thousands of new restaurants around the world and many more to come, meaning that more and more people will be able to access cheap, great-tasting, and probably ultimately deadly food pretty much wherever they go. That mass consumption of terrible, fat inducing food will likely allow the company to continue its record growth and generate even higher revenues going forward.

“As we begin 2012, we are intensifying our efforts toward the global priorities that represent our greatest opportunities under the Plan to Win – optimising and evolving our menu, modernising the customer experience and broadening accessibility to our brand,” said Chief Executive Jim Skinner. mcdonalds fries

The company plans to open at least 1300 new restaurants in 2012, expanding their reach and the waistlines of thousands more around the world.

The company will also create a thousand of new jobs with those restaurants, which they will likely point to over and over again when critics discuss health issues.

“This is really great news for McDonald’s and for investors. For a while there in 1990’s it looked like the company was going to falter but the continued growth over the last decade has turned that around and really become one of the more remarkable stories in American business. This success is just the capper to that resurrection,” said Scrape TV Business analyst Ken Green. “No company has had so much success exploiting the weakness of individuals like McDonald’s has had over the last decade. It’s really an astonishing level of growth and there appears to be no end to it anytime soon, thankfully for investors.”

The bulk of the sales increase has come from Europe and Asia, which is expected to continue through 2012.mcdonalds meal

“McDonald’s is really the success story that people should look to when trying to bring companies back. They have streamlined their processes, refined their brands, and made their restaurants a destination, especially with low prices, which is really beneficial with the way the economy is right now,” continued Green “One can’t underestimate things like getting kids when they are young, building up a love for the food from an early age, but that has only been a part of the story, and what a great story it has been. Hopefully they will be able to keep up the expansion, at least at the same pace as their customer’s waistlines.”

The company also reported plans to continue expansion beyond 2012, of both restaurants and stomachs.
