SCIENTOLOGY LEADERS AGREE TO RELEASE CRUISE SHIP PRISONER

December 1 2011

Los Angeles, CA – All religions, well almost all religions, are born in controversy. People hate them, they ridicule them, and sometimes even act violently towards them and eventually those faiths either succeed despite the efforts of outsiders or they falter and go away, sometimes quietly and sometimes in a blaze of glory.tom cruise scientology

There has been no upstart religion in modern times that has endured more criticism, more anger, or more ridicule than Scientology and, as been shown on numerous occasions, not without good reason. For every outsider who accuses the religion of essentially being a cult, one more former followers comes forth with evidence of the same.

To defend themselves the group’s hierarchy has become very litigious, drawing on a massive pool of money mostly drawn from the same supporters, and in doing so have prevented some of the more aggressive attacks against their organization. Eventually though lawsuits were only going to go so far and now the group has decided to take a more traditional route in proving their legitimacy by releasing some of their many prisoners as a kind of peace offering to the rest of the world.

“I was basically hauled in and told that my mum had attacked the church and that I needed to disconnect from her because she was suppressive. He decided the ship, and I found out two hours before my plane left, I was woken up in the morning and I was sent to the ship for 'two weeks,” said Valeska Paris, the first prisoner released tom cruise david miscavige
under the new initiative. “I did not want to be there, I made it clear I did not want to be there and that was considered bad ethics, meaning it was considered not right.”

Paris was kept on cruise ship for 12 years under the direction of Scientology leader David Miscaviage, occasionally forced into hard labour deep in the bowels of the ship.

The vessel is one part of a massive armada of cruise vessel utilized by the organization to recruit and maintain members. It’s not clear how many of the workers on those vessels are in fact prisoners.

“Valeska Guider was serving as a crew member aboard the Freewinds religious retreat as a volunteer, adult religious worker.  She was there of her own free will as part of her religious commitment to the Church of Scientology. Her claims are false,” said the organization in a statement.        david miscavige

Despite that statement, insiders with the organization say that future prisoner releases may be in the offing, provided they can behave better than Paris when back out in the world.

“Look, they chose her because she seemed sensible and willing to not say strange or untruthful things but that has proven to be false. That is very disturbing to the leadership and may halt any future releases from happening. That’s not what they want, not at all, but they may have little choice if people can’t behave themselves. They want these people to go free but they can’t have this kind of nonsense going on around when they are being so kind and understanding,” said an insider. “The release program is still on, for now, but that could change any minute.”

At least one small ship believed to be carrying refugees was recently sunk off the coast of California. All aboard are believed lost or re-recruited.
