THE POPE COMES OUT IN SUPPORT OF CREATIONISM

April 24 2011

Vatican City – One of the great mysteries and debates of the human animal is a simple one; why are we here? For as long as we have been conscious beings, creatures aware of our own existence and the transitory nature of it, we have asked cell division
that question and often answered it ourselves in one form or another. Even today in our modern world of science and reason, it is a question that we ask on an almost daily basis, a question that seems to have no clear answer.

One of the paths towards answering that question is in the answering of another, very similar question, again why are we here. In the former context the question asks our purpose for being, our task in life, but in the latter the question asks what force put us here, what being or process made us into what we are today. The hope is that through answering the latter question we may eventually find the answer to the former, though in thousands of years of searching we have unfortunately not come to any solid conclusions, no indisputable answers. Science of course shows us that human beings are a product of a series of complex chemical reactions and biological imperatives, answering much of the what of why we are here, but not the why. Though that science has come to be widely accepted, many still choose to view the process in the slightly different way, including one leading figure who on Sunday came out firmly on the side of a more intangible process.

“If man were merely a random product of evolution in some place on the margins of pope benedict
the universe, then his life would make no sense or might even be a chance of nature,”
said Pope Benedict from his home inside Rome
. “It would be wrong to thing at some point in some tiny corner of the cosmos there evolved randomly some species of living being capable of reasoning and of trying to find rationality within creation, or to bring rationality into it.”

The Pope it is believed was referring to the widely held belief of a higher power, a supreme being, who created humanity and all other forms of life through sheer will.

“There have been hundreds, perhaps even thousands of theories behind the development of humankind and life on the planet yet none have come to any kind of universal acceptance. Even with demonstrable evidence disproving most of those theories, people still hold onto them for whatever reason,” said Scrape TV Religion analyst Bertram Gas. “Perhaps it is easy to understand the process if you understand the logic behind it. If you anthropomorphize the process, similar to building a chair or a sand castle, then it’s easier to understand. By understanding the motives, you understand the process and then the whole thing just cinches together.”the pope

No scientific study has yet determined the actual mechanism for the start of the whole process.

“Talking about this is public though, from such a prominent figure, well that’s a little touchy. I mean he has a lot of followers and his voice carries quite far, but things like this, well they could very well undo that influence. No one wants to see the big guy up there making a fool of himself, even his harshest critics,” continued Gas. “People with that kind of voice really do need to speak carefully, they do need to watch what they say because it can be latched on by not only critics, but also by loons who may very well start going around talking about this higher being creating everything and that doesn’t do anyone any good.”

The Pope did warn followers about following the strict letter of the law when it comes to creationism, though would not back off the God Creator vision of the process.
