DEMI MOORE HOSPITALIZATION MAY THREATEN NEW JOB AT KFC
January 26 2012
Los Angeles, CA – There was a time, really not all that long ago, when Demi Moore was the highest paid actress in Hollywood. Moore, in fact, broke new ground for actresses proving that they could play on the same level as the boys, paving the way for eventual huge paydays for people like Julia Roberts and Katherine Heigl. She was a trailblazer, perhaps surprising even herself, because no one could have seen that coming from her early days in Tinsel Town.
Like many women in Hollywood there is little doubt that a great deal of her success was owed to the man in her life, her sugar daddy-by-proxy, Bruce Willis. Long before Moore broke that glass ceiling, she was married to Willis, a bona fide male movie star, which undoubtedly raised Moore’s profile and allowed her to demand bigger and bigger salaries. Whatever the reason, she did it, and now she doesn’t anymore.
Both that marriage and those big paydays are long gone, way back in time, and all Moore has is the here and now, a newly failed marriage and approaching the wrong side of fifty. That, at least in part, explains what may lie behind her latest hospitalization for apparently huffing Whip-it’s, nitrous oxide, though her nervousness about starting her new job as a shift manager at a local KFC may have also contributed to the health crisis.
“Demi has been under a lot of stress recently. She is really broken up by the marriage thing and the work just isn’t coming like it used to. She’s also starting to really feel her age but the nitrous, well it makes her feel young again, this time she overdid it a little bit,” an insider told ScrapeTV. “A woman of her advanced age has few options in Hollywood to feel young again but this is one of those things. Obviously it’s a little more difficult for the body to take as you get older and she went a little too far.”
Moore apparently suffered a seizure after inhaling the gas, which prompted the 911 call and hospitalization.
Moore has also apparently tried to date Emilio Estevez again, and offered oral sex to various studio heads to bring her back to her early days in town but apparently failed in both efforts, leading to the nitrous.
“Demi has also been very antsy about going back to work. It’s probably more the stress of everything else going on than anything else, but whatever the reason it’s really gotten to her. She kept talking about how happy she was about the new movie (Lovelace) but that is gone now. She has been in contact with the people at KFC about the job she was supposed to start there, but I haven’t heard anything about what’s going on with that job,” continued the insider. “She had worked very hard to make the schedules work with the movie but all of that is up in the air right now. She was very excited and very nervous about both jobs, and now that the one is gone she hopes she can at least keep the other. She really worked hard to get that job and doesn’t want to lose it now.”
KFC has no official policy on drug use before an employee starts work, and doesn’t really enforce any rules they might have during work.
It's not clear what Moore had to do to get the job after spending so many years out of the food industry, though one can guess.
