LATEST TWILIGHT MOVIE HITS AND SHOWS THE END IS BLISSFULLY NEAR

Hollywood, CA – Well the latest Twilight move has hit theatres and, as expected, it is a massive hit. With nearly record breaking box office, the second-to-last movie in the saga has ensured its place in cinema history for good, assured of a prominent place in pop culture for a long time to come.
The saga isn’t over though, with one more movie in the pipes waiting to unleash itself on the movie-going public. That film, which will be released next Fall, will undoubtedly be an agonizing wait for fans and critics of the series, both of whom are dreading the drama that will inevitably lead up to the release of the film.
“We are thrilled with the success of the latest film because it shows that the passion for the Twilight saga and all its characters has been unabated. This success is proof better than anything of the power of Twilight on the public consciousness,” said a spokesperson for Summit, the studio behind the movie series. “And the story isn’t over yet. We are very confident that fans will be just as energetic and engaged by the next and final chapter in the series they have all come to love, just as we are.”
The latest film, “Breaking Dawn part 1”, grossed $72 million dollars on Friday and is estimated to reach over $140 million by the end of the weekend.
The next instalment will be released in November of next year, a year long wait that will undoubtedly frustrate all who have encountered the series, both positively and negatively.
The film series has already grossed a ton of money and will rake in a lot more going forward. There are currently no plans to extend the franchise beyond the current stories, unfortunately for fans and blissfully for critics.
“The box office success of these movies is really remarkable because of the audience. Big franchises of recent memory, like Transformers or Harry Potter, tend to span generations and genders, but Twilight has a very specific audience. 14-year old girls, and women who want to be 14 again, and that makes the success even more remarkable,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “It really has captured something, mostly immature hormones, and that has led to the incredible financial success it has enjoyed and will continue to enjoy going forward.”
The book series on which the movies is based does end with ‘Breaking Dawn’ and there have been no announcements of future instalments.
“Like Harry Potter, I’m sure the people behind the movies will want to extend this brand somehow, someway, but the bucket is only so deep and eventually, if you push too far, people will start to push back,” continued Temple. “I mean eventually these young girls will grow into young women and forget these things. When they hit forty and have stretch marks they will likely want to revisit their youth and that will be the time to strike, when they have money and varicose veins. That’s the audience that you really need to grab and hopefully they are planning that far in advance.”
Whatever else happens, it’s believed likely that Kristen Stewart’s career will continue.
