RUSSELL BRAND FINALLY FREES HIMSELF FROM KATY PERRY WITH DIVORCE FILING

London, U.K. – From the very beginning it was a pretty sure thing that this was going to happen. The nice, pleasant Christian girl and the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks, a story played out in endless romantic dramas, rarely works in the real world, and it didn’t work for Katy Perry and Russell Brand.
Following days of rumours, the Brand has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences between the pair. The divorce filing came just hours after Perry went on the attack, saying that her marriage was safe and sound and that all the talk was just nonsense, but that doesn’t appear to have been the case at all.
Now the unlikeliest of pairings appears to be at end, with very little possibility of the pair reconciling their differences and once again becoming a loving couple, leaving Brand finally free from the crushing weight of the marriage and available to some other lucky lady out there in the world.
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends,” Brand said in statement.
Perry’s camp has not responded to the filing, but she is expected to make noise about it the next few days.
Brand is reportedly staying with friends during this difficult time while Perry is presumably cursing him and fornicating with many men.
“It’s really a marriage that never should have happened, a relationship that never should have happened to be honest. They are just too different, crazy kids thinking they can make something like that work. It never works, never, and they were crazy to think that they could make it happen. So sad that it turned out this way,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “It’s also sad that Russell wasted so many years on this, more than two, and such prime years as well. I mean I suppose Perry wasted some time as well, but she at least knew what she was doing, taking him for a ride like that. Chew ‘em up and spit ‘em out, that’s the way she is and unfortunately Russell got caught up in that machine. He should have gone with his gut, but he went with his heart instead. Very sad.”
Brand has also reportedly been spending almost all of his time recently indoors, refusing to even step outside since the couple had a bust up just before Christmas.
“Now though he has this experience and he can move on. He will have learned a lot from this, at least what not to do next time. It’s very upsetting that he had to go through this experience to learn what wasn’t going to work, but I’m sure he will get over it. He’s a sensitive soul, but he’s strong too,” continued Temple. “Now too he’s going to look on all those good times, the wedding, meeting her parents for the first time, and all those times he had sex with her, and those memories will be tainted. I just hope he will be able to get over it, to move on with someone better, someone who deserves his love and affection, something Katy Perry certainly did not deserve.”
Perry has reportedly already given all of Brand’s clothing to the homeless, though most was rejected.
