JESSICA BIEL PASSES BRAD PITT TO BECOME MOST DANGEROUS CELEBRITY

Hollywood, CA – For some in Hollywood success comes at a very young age. Others need to struggle for years and languish in anaemic and often embarrassing projects before hitting the big time. Often those who start off hot will inevitably end up cold
and in the case of child stars often in tragedy. For those stars that persist through the hard times and make it to the big time quite often their success is long lasting and rewarding both financially and creatively.

Two examples of those types of successes are Jessica Biel and Brad Pitt. Biel made it big on the hit show ‘7th Heaven’ at the tender age of fourteen. Pitt, now of course one of the biggest stars in the world, toiled in television and forgotten films before landing a plum role in ‘Thelma and Louise’ at 28. He would break through into the mainstream until ‘Interview with the Vampire’ and ‘Legends of the Fall’ made him an international sex symbol at the age of 32. Despite those differing paths to success the two stars do have one thing in common, namely their names and the power they have to strike fear into the hearts of web surfers the world over.

“Cybercriminals are star watchers, too — they latch onto popular celebrities to encourage the download of malicious software in disguise. Consumers' obsession with celebrity news and culture is harmless in theory, but one bad download can cause a lot of damage to a computer,” said Jeff Green, Senior Vice-President of McAfee Labs. “Jessica Biel is now without a doubt the most dangerous celebrity on the web. Virtually every search related to her name will cause damage to your computer. She has easily overtaken Pitt as the most damaging name in the world and should be avoided at all costs.”

Biel has had little success since her departure from the hit television show and has principally acquired roles due to her looks, something which may be threatened by her new persona on the web. Though her representatives have yet to respond to the accusations it’s believed that this attention is the most she has received in a number of years.

“The cold hard reality is people do not search for Jessica Biel in order to watch examples of her exemplary performances. She is a very attractive lady and most people conducting searches are really looking for one thing, but unfortunately that is a lot more dangerous than it used to be. Hopefully people will be using some kind of protection when looking for her pictures,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “Unfortunately this puts her and her people in a tough position. People will potentially search less frequently for her thus potentially hurting her career, but this is also the most attention she has received in years. This kind of attention is always a tough thing to deal with and even the most seasoned of publicists have trouble navigating these waters. The one positive is that she must have a killer team because they have put her in a position to be successful somewhere at least.”

Biel has a number of projects in the works though none are seen as major hits. Many in the industry believe that at 27 her best days are behind her.

“The reality is in Hollywood women peak faster. Men are able to have careers into their 70’s and 80’s but women have a lot less longevity. Clint Eastwood still works but Faye Dunaway doesn’t. If this status does stay she could be in real trouble because it is removing the one real asset she has,” continued Temple. “Of course this could all be different than read. Biel is an attractive girl and Jeff Green is a man. It’s entirely possible that he has manipulated the situation in order to keep people from searching for her. Though a little creepy, one can certainly understand the sentiment motivating someone to want to keep another to themselves. Unfortunately Biel’s career will sufferbecause of it.”

Experts are still puzzled as to how Biel became so popular amongst fraudsters which far outstretches her popularity in the real world.
