KATE HUDSON RUMOURED TO BE A REALLY HORRIBLE ACTRESS

Hollywood, CA – Kirk Douglas and Michael Douglas. Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie. Henry Fonda and Peter Fonda. Francis Ford Coppola and Nicolas Cage. The history of Hollywood is populated and in many ways supported by famous families. Children, 
nephews and nieces, and even entire families have had a long history in Tinseltown. Some of those pairings have been remarkably successful with huge box office success and critical acclaim. Some families such as the Mankiewicz’s or Coppola’s have actually changed the direction of Hollywood film and the business itself.
And then there is Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson. Hawn, a major star early in her career and even the recipient of an Academy Award, has undoubtedly established her place in the pantheon of Hollywood royalty. Her personal paring with Kurt Russell also, for a brief period anyway, helped to make her a true power player in the town. Much of that has faded in recent years but there had been hope for her legacy in the form of daughter Kate Hudson. With small roles in small films simply a prelude to a breakout role in ‘Almost Famous’, a role which earned her an Oscar nomination, it appeared as though the legacy was safe. Alas, that was not to be with a succession of poorly received movies and underwhelming performances, Hudson’s career, her legacy has gone off track, and now rumours suggest that may be a result of very poor acting on her part.
“There’s been a lot of people talking about frankly, especially after seeing ‘Nine’. That movie was such a disappointment for so many reasons but the main reason was casting Hudson in the lead. She has no history in musicals and very little power as a leading lady. This was a project with so much talent and so much riding on it and she just stunk up the place,” said a Hollywood insider who preferred to remain anonymous. “Her performance was bad, her dancing was mediocre and she could barely hold her own against Fergie never mind Daniel Day-Lewis or Judi Dench. Hell, should barely deliver her lines past that mush mouth of hers.”
Hollywood officials believe there were a number of reasons for the financial failure of ‘Nine’ which has almost sunk the production company.
“You look at her career since ‘Almost Famous’ and frankly there isn’t anything even worth watching. The movies just get worse when she comes on screen though and it makes them less than unwatchable. If she weren’t such a train wreck you would simply fall asleep as soon as she appears in frame,” continued the insider. “This has been talk for a long time around town. Everyone who works with her just comes away amazed. I mean she knows how to act like a movie star, obviously. She has been fooling people for years, but actually acting as a character is something totally different and something she just doesn’t comprehend.”
The basic concept of acting is that a person imagines what it is like to be another person and then pretends to be that person. Lines are generally written down in advance for memorization purposes.
“For a long time this lack of acting skill has just been a bunch of rumours but since she nearly sank the Weinstein Company the talk has been getting a lot louder. It will be a while before she is ousted because of her lineage but the talent has obviously skipped her over, or she used it all up or something,” continued the insider. “The really scary part is that in her next movie she’s starring alongside Jessica Alba. Hopefully for everyone involved the budget isn’t too high.”
Goldie Hawn reportedly walked out of a screening of ‘Nine’ reputedly to use the washroom, though she never returned.
