CLAIRE DANES REPORTEDLY STILL ALIVE

Hollywood, CA – There are a great many mysteries that have compelled people for generations. Ancient myths such as the unicorn and Hercules, though having their roots in reality, have largely been debunked but modern mysteries continue. Take the
story of the Amelia Earhart or Jimmy Hoffa, or the assassination of JFK, or even recent stories such as the disappearance of Madeleine McCann or the murder of JonBenet Ramsey which have all woven their way into popular culture. It is however not the mystery themselves which are often so compelling, but the reason that they are so compelling in the first place that is so intriguing.
Such is the case with the Hollywood mystery of Claire Danes, the one-time starlet who at one time seemed destined for super-stardom, but who was ultimately left behind by time and indifference. In recent year it had largely been assumed that Danes had either left Hollywood for good, or that she had somehow met her demise in some unseemly way, but the occasional movie appearance seemed to fly in the face of that logic. Now, with a apparently new film airing on HBO, new rumours are beginning to circulate that Danes is in fact alive 
and has been all along, and that her absence from the big screen has in fact been something of a choice rather than a result of her being committed to the beyond.
“Claire is very much alive, I can assure you of that. She’s had a couple health issues here and there but nothing that would have caused her demise. She’s just been kind of doing her thing, living her life. She actually got married last year, something most people didn’t know about,” said a Hollywood insider. “It would be reasonable to assume that she had died by from everything I’ve heard she is still alive and actually quite healthy. I’m not sure what she’s been doing for the last decade or so, but that’s really her business. She’s alive and that’s all that matters.”
It had been assumed that her occasional appearance in films was a result of pre-recorded footage or someone doubling as the actress. It had been assumed that the actress died sometime in late 2005 after a string of failed comeback attempts.
“Hollywood chews people up and spits them out and that’s exactly what happened with Danes. She had this great show, that was likely greater because it didn’t last long enough to start sucking, and one hit movie and then she was done. She had charisma and good looks, but a lot of people have that and still aren’t able to gather success,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “I, like just about everyone else, assumed that the rumours were true and that she had in fact met with an untimely hand. The most plausible theory was that she had overdosed on pills, though my sources indicate that she had had actually hanged herself in a closet. If this new rumour is to be believed however than this is good news, at least for her friends and family.”
Danes, who will apparently turn 31 in April, is most frequently spoken of in relation to the show ‘My So-Called Life” which was cancelled fifteen years ago. The majority of her other roles have been completely forgotten.
“Perhaps she faked her death. That would be a reasonable assumption. Looking back on those old movies, those old interviews, those old pictures where the world seemed to be hers for the taking and comparing those with reality, it would be understandable that she would have preferred death,” continued Temple. “Much like her show, by living a short life much of her career would have been looked at through rose-coloured glasses, The show didn’t have the chance to get bad as shows inevitably do, and that would have been the best things for Danes herself. Hopefully for her sake these rumours aren’t true.”
Alive or dead, it’s not expected that Danes’ career prospects will be altered.
