IT’S OFFICIAL: JOSS WHEDON TO DIRECT THE AVENGERS AND HAS THE LARGEST FOREHEAD IN THE WORLD

Hollywood, CA – With millions of fans around the world it would be hard to consider Joss Whedon a cult icon but that is exactly how his fans would like to think of him. ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘Angel’, and ‘Firefly’ are just a few of the many projects
Whedon has brought to popular culture and though they have been eaten up by fans
all across the world, each person has an intimate connection with them and the man behind them, secreting them away as though no one else can ever know their greatness.
Such a secret could not have been kept forever and with the announcement that Whedon will direct the fanboy wet dream that is the ‘Avengers’ film it seems that after two decades Whedon will finally step into the mainstream. With the popcorn eating mass ready to whet its appetite with next month’s ‘Iron Man 2’ the 2012 release of the ‘The Avengers’ is as close to a sure thing as can be had in film. For Whedon it is no doubt a culmination of a career with his well-deserved come-uppance producing the ultimate comic book fantasy film. On 
the heels of that announcement, Whedon has also had some other good news with scientist officially declaring that he has the largest forehead ever recorded, a title he had long been fighting to steal away from Christian Slater.
“After a lot of debate and a great deal of scientific analysis we have determined that Joss Whedon does indeed have the largest forehead of any living person. There are many who were considered but ultimately a combination of factors made it undeniable that he should be at the top of the list,” said Dr. Howard Earns who led the study. “The biggest issue is of course determining where natural hairlines begin. Receding hairlines are not counted as a part of the forehead and even though Whedon has had some significant loss in that area it was quite clear that his forehead was massive and the largest yet recorded.”
Second place went to Michael Gerber of Pittsburgh, PA. Kate Bosworth was the top female choice, placing fourth behind Slater.
“We make no distinction between men and women when it comes to assessing forehead size. You will see that there is an almost equal split between the genders on this list, though the top ten is dominated by men. There is no scientific reason for this that we can determine yet but it is a very clear phenomenon,” continued Earns. “You will also notice that there are a great deal of celebrities on the list and we believe that has a great deal to do with how light reflects off larger brows. Likely people who have that ability to produce extra luminance are rewarded with success in the public realm. People may not notice exactly what it is drawing them in, but it is those massive fiveheads and that is why so many people with large heads enter entertainment realms.”
Whedon has not yet made statement and has not made it clear when he will retrieve his trophy, the so-called ‘Heady’.
“We have spoken with Mr. Whedon’s representatives and from what we have been told he is ecstatic that he has been chosen. He has always been a very willing participant in our studies and he always made it clear that he would have been happy with not being at the top, though he preferred that,” continued Earns. “We will be regularly assessing this list in an effort to keep it as accurate as possible. While we do understand the prestige factor involved, this is first and foremost a scientific study and we would like it to remain that way.”
Madonna was a surprising 11th on the list.
