SUGE KNIGHT GETS ARRESTED FOR BEATING SOME GUY UP, AGAIN

Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles music scene has always been built on attitude. Names like ‘Guns ‘n’ Roses’, ‘Motley Crue’ , ‘Black Flag’, ‘L7’, ‘Megadeth’, ‘Rage Against the Machine’, ‘Ice-T’ and ‘NWA’ are just a few of the major musical acts from
the City of Angels who have not really lived up to the reputation of the city. Of course the city itself has never really lived up to the ideal. While outsiders see it as a paradise of sun and surf, the area has long been plagued with violence, prejudice, and corruption dating from the earliest days of the city.
It is in the culture, specifically the music, of the city that outsiders are able to see what LA is truly all about and cast that shadow of honesty on the sun drenched beaches. By the late 1980’s the attitude of the city was being voiced by Hip Hop artists who articulated the decay and corruption of the city through their own experiences and actions. Though many names resonate from that era there is one personality who has had a hand in the movement more than anyone, producer Suge Knight whose involvement with artists like Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur, and Snoop Dogg made him one of the most influential voices in music. Unfortunately, Knight’s real life and creative life often meshed landing him in prison more than once for attacking people, something he has just done again.
“Mr Knight was stopped after a report to 911 stating that the occupant of a white Escalade had pointed a gun at him. When we stopped the vehicle we took Mr. Knight into custody and he has now been booked on multiple charges,” said a police spokesperson. “He has been booked pending an investigation for assault with a deadly weapon. He was also to be found to be driving with a suspended licence. Mr. Knight was completely cooperative during this time. Updates will be made when necessary.”
Knight has been in prison multiple times, mostly for assault, and has become widely known as a bit of a hot head.
“There was that story of him holding Vanilla Ice off a balcony by his ankles to encourage him to sign a contract. It’s never been clear whether or not that that story was totally accurate but anybody who brings those kinds of tales to the table has to have done more than a few things to earn them,” said Scrape TV Music analyst Dylan Chambers. “Suge Knight is just a very punchy guy. He likes guns, he likes smashing people in the face. That’s just the way he is and things aren’t going to change anytime soon. Through him in jail and he’ll get into fights there. Release him and he’ll get into fights in the real world. Some people just can’t control their fists as well as other people and that gets them into trouble.”
It’s not clear if Knight is currently on probation. If so, the gun charge alone would put him back in prison.
“Knight has been shot, been beaten up multiple times, and been involved in all kinds of robberies. Not the typical behaviour one would expect from the former CEO of a multi-million dollar company but, well that’s just Suge. Some people are just the way they are and Knight is a very punch happy fellow,” continued Chambers. “Suge will probably go to jail this time and even if he doesn’t he’ll probably end up back there at sometime. It’s good that he’s been able to find what he’s really good at. So few people are able to find their true calling but obviously Suge has and it involves a lot of punching.”
Knight apparently punched his lawyer when he came with the 65,000 bail bond.
