BEAR GRYLLS HAS HELLISH TIME IN PORTLAND HOTEL

Portland, OR – For most people the experience of being lost is about the worst thing imaginable. Many people have that experience when they younger, finding themselves suddenly without their parents maybe only for minutes can be traumatizing. The 
majority of people who have those experiences eventually get over them, but the idea of being lost and the anxiety it creates stick with them forever. Being lost as adult is something that rarely happens, but when it does, it is usually in extreme circumstances. With all the resources that an adult possesses being unable to find their way means they are usually in serious trouble.
For years one man has been displaying potential survival techniques and living that experience for all of us. The show ‘Man vs Wild’, featuring Grylls in harrowing conditions few can ever imagine, has been a massive worldwide hit that has made the star into a global personality and a sex symbol. With locations as diverse as the Costa Rican rain forest, the Scottish highlands, and the frozen wilds of Siberia Grylls has travelled the world showing techniques that could save anyone’s life should they find themselves in that situation. Despite all his adventures and encounters with truly life threatening situations, there are still challenges which even the mighty Bear has had difficulty in defeating, namely a rugged and unrelenting stay in a Portland hotel.
“It was hell frankly, it was nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. There were tears in the carpet, mysterious stains all over the floor, the hot water took forever, and the drapes were hideous. I’ve never experienced anything like it before and hope that I never will again,” said Grylls of his stay in the Comfy Inn. “I’ve been in hotels all over the world and frankly the last place I would have expected this kind of thing was in the States. We should have gone to another place but by the time the crew had unpacked all their gear everyone was exhausted and we just didn’t have the energy to move on. I truly regret that decision.”
Grylls also said that the ice in the ice machine tasted vaguely of fish.
“I do not remember this person but my motel is a clean and respectable place. I do not understand how this person came to this conclusion. We run a nice hotel and all of our patrons are happy. I am sorry that these people were not pleased and we would like to offer them a free night when they are here again,” said Abraham Binsar, the motel owner. “We have many, many people stay here every day and we do not hear these complaints. Our people clean the rooms every day and we run a good place. We welcome all people at the Comfy Inn and we would like to invite everyone to come here when you are staying in the Portland area.”
The Comfy Inn offers rooms by the night and by the hour.
“Man vs Wild is a great show. I have to admit that I watch it every week. It’s almost like wish fulfillment or an action movie. You imagine yourself in that situation and picture yourself surviving. It’s great entertainment but it is that, entertainment. Obviously you’re watching it through a camera that someone is holding so you know it’s manufactured to a certain degree. You just have to suspend disbelief a little,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “That said, it’s a little like professional wrestling. Sure it’s not totally real but they are still experiencing those hits. Grylls is still going through those things even if help is only a few feet away. That doesn’t affect the entertainment value of the sow one bit. His experience in the motel though sounds all too real. If I ever go through Portland, though I can’t imagine why that would ever happen, I won’t be staying there. Not a chance.”
It’s not yet clear if Grylls was shooting an episode of the show in the Portland area or simply has his film crew wherever he goes.”
