LINDSAY LOHAN AND DR. DREW FINALLY HOOK UP AT WEENIE ROAST IN L.A.

Irvine, CA – Sobriety is something that people all over the world struggle with on a daily basis. Some people are beset by major addictions to truly toxic substances but for others, whether it is sleeping pills or a morning coffee, addiction still has an ugly 
face. When that addiction is battled in the face of public scrutiny and almost unlimited access to the source of the problem, the addiction can sometimes turn sour and tragic very quickly, something many people fear is the inevitable fate for Lindsay Lohan.
One person that has appeared to be behind her back, encouraging her sobriety and return to a more or less normal life is celebrity Doctor Drew Pinsky. Pinsky, whose celebrity rehab shows have made him a star in his own right, has been very vocal in his criticism and support for Lohan and her public struggles. Despite that, Lohan has routinely rebuffed his offers of help, just as she has from virtually everyone else. However, that has not deterred the doctor and now it appears that the two have come closer to consummating their ongoing back and forth after meeting at the KROQ Weenie Roast this weekend in Irvine.
“It was tense. It was really tense but you could see what was going on there. You’d 
have to be blind to not see what was going on between the two of them. I didn’t actually see them speak but they did run into each other a couple of times and there was real electricity between the pair. Dr. Drew kept looking for her. I even saw him pursuing her on a couple of occasions,” said one guest at the roast where Pinsky is a VIP. “Look, she went out of her way to make sure she was at the roast. Dr. Drew works for KROQ so it makes sense that he was there but she could have stayed away. That makes it obvious that whatever is going on between the two of them is not just one-sided.”
Pinsky reported left the weenie roast with his wife Susan. Lohan was reportedly found under a table and forcibly removed from the premises.
“Lindsay Lohan has really become the poster child for addiction. There are all kinds of 
sad stories in Hollywood with young stars indulging in everything the town has to deliver and while some of them do turn out tragically, many turn out positively. There is no better example of that than Robert Downey Jr.,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “His success is the template for rehab and redemption. His success is no doubt due in large part to his immense talent but that is something that Lohan also possesses. When you watched her early films you saw what she was capable of and could be again, but sometimes the road to light is paved with a great deal of darkness.”
Like Downey, Lohan has had trouble getting work due to insurance issues.
“Dr. Drew has made a career out of helping Z-grade stars come back to the world of the living and while none of them have gone the way of Downey, having massive success, they have no doubt benefited personally from his help. They are living better lives, free of addiction, and that is all due to his efforts,” continued Temple. “Of course that may not be what is motivating him. You don’t see him chasing other troubled stars in the same way that he has pursued Lohan so that seems to indicate that there is something else going on. Obviously since she showed up at the picnic there is something else going on there with her. Her protestations might mean something much deeper than they first appear but we will have to wait and see on that.”
Representatives for both parties had no comment.
