TAYLOR LAUTNER CAN’T BEAT OLD MAN IN PUSH UP CONTEST

Irvine, CA – Feats of strength have long been the measure of man. It is likely that men have evolved things such as sport as a way to compensate for the things we lost in moving from caves and living as hunter-gatherers. Feats of strength play a major 
role in that because such displays are not simply on the football field or on the hockey rink but also in day-to-day life. Men spend hours in gyms sculpting their bodies and lifting things beyond their ability.
It may also be that men utilize such feats of strength as a sort of mating ritual. After all, strength protects families and provides healthy genes, something our ancient women most certainly would have pursued. Like men, women are just as tied to our ancestors and strength can and does impress many a lady. That has been very evident in the incredible success of Taylor Lautner, the wolfman from the ‘Twilight’ films and the object of desire for many a young women. Often shirtless and showing off his sculpted physique, the seventeen years old has made many women weak in the knees and made a comfortable career for himself. However, the young star may have compromised some of that mystique recently after turning down the opportunity to beat a 47-year old man in a push up contest, likely because he was scared.
“The idea was to settle this silly lawsuit in a way that works best for everyone involved. It would have been the best thing for us, the best thing for us, and the best thing for charity. I’m really disappointed that he decided to back out like a little girl and now we have to go the boring route to solve this,” said Brent McMahon of McMahon's RV. “The offer stands but we vigorously fight this suit in court if he decides to go that way. We still feel that this offer is the best way to go about things but it’s really in his girly hands now.”
The lawsuit and challenge stem from an RV purchase which Lautner’s camp state was not delivered on time.
“I don’t know any of the details of this thing but generally speaking when you don’t get what you want when you pay for things you do seek legal restitution. Using feats of strength to resolve legal issues is something people frown upon these days and hasn’t been in widespread use since the Romans and it may fail here,” said Scrape TV Legal analyst Gabe Hawthorne. “The real issue is one of public perception on the part of Lautner. He’s having some success right now and making some good coin but the very distinct possibility that he will follow in the footsteps of Lorenzo Lamas weighs heavily over him and he has to be careful in these early days of his career. He doesn’t want to be seen as a cry baby or a wimp.”
It’s not clear how many push ups either man is able to perform in a single setting.
“In domestic situations like this the law is really there to negotiate a settlement. There is no obvious criminal action on the part of the company and therefore legal involvement is limited, leaving litigation as the only real option, or these feats of strength,” continued Hawthorne. “Frankly, it now looks like he is unable to beat this old man and that is not a pleasant situation to be in. Young ladies like strong and tough men and that is an image that he has cultivated. Now he appears unable to beat a middle-aged man and that doesn’t look good at all.”
Lautner reportedly lost multiple arm wrestling matches against ‘Twilight’ co-star Kellan Lutz on the set of the first movie and has not spoken with him since.
