TOM HANKS STILL LOVED BY PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE

Hollywood, CA – Hollywood is a tough town. Both the city itself and the greater Hollywood, the one that exists in movie fans all around the world have destroyed more than a few dreams and more than a few lives. Even those who are able to 
navigate the travails of the town for brief periods often experience declines and disappointments as their fans or their talent begin to fade. Despite that, people keep trying and as long as the promise of wealth and fame continues, so too will the dreams, both achieved and trampled upon.
There are, however, true success stories in the town. Shirley Temple for example has been out of the movies for decades but is as loved and respected as she was as a child star. Mickey Rooney hasn’t been in the movies much recently but, at 89, he is truly a show biz legend as respected now as he ever has been. Such is also the case for Tom Hanks, the actor/producer/writer/director/all around good guy that everyone still seems to love despite a career that spans thirty years. With hit after hit, a Hollywood marriage that worked, and the acclaim and love of virtually everyone who has worked with him or even met him, Tom Hanks has proven himself a true Hollywood legend for whom the affection seems to boundless.
“I just love the guy. The other day he came onto the set with this big thing of coffees for everyone and then took us all out for ice cream at lunch. That is just the kind of guy that he is and it’s great to be around him,” said a man currently working on Hanks’ newest film ‘Larry Crowne’. “You get so many phonies and jerks in Hollywood and Tom, he insists that we call him that, is such a relief. He remembers everyone’s name and asks us about our personal lives. He brings fresh flowers onto the set. That’s something no director or actor has ever done that I’ve seen, well except Drew Barrymore but then she ate them. She’s a little odd.”
Hanks reportedly bought puppies for everyone when he filmed an episode of the mini-series ‘Band of Brothers’.
“There are some people in Hollywood who aren’t just 
bad, they are downright evil. Backstabbing, manipulative turncoats that would sell their mothers for a greenlight. You would assume that that kind of behaviour was
confined to the executives but the creative people do it all the time. There are some real jerks in the town. Tom Hanks is not one of them,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “It’s funny too because even the nastiest people in Hollywood love him. The meanest, nastiest people this town can create just melt when he walks in the room. They turn back into their regular selves as soon as he leaves of course but for that brief time they are around him they are as nice as can be.”
Infamous bad guy and crazy producer Jon Peters reportedly bought his entire staff fruit juice immediately after meeting Hanks, though spit in them after he left.
“Hanks is just the nicest guy you could meet. I got the chance to meet him briefly a few years ago and it felt like my hand was floating or something after he shook it. I tried washing it afterwards but the water just seemed to
go over it and didn’t touch the skin. Even the elements have respect for him,” continued Temple. “I did hear one guy say something bad about him one time but he later admitted that he was in a bad mood as his wife had just killed their children and herself. I suppose that’s understandable. Apparently, Tom bought the guy 100 boxes of his favourite Jell-O. I believe it was lime, though I’ve heard orange as well.”
When reached for comment representatives for Hanks informed us that he was out at the local playground pushing kids on swings and was unavailable for comment but that we would be sent a fruit basket in lieu of an interview.
