LINDSAY LOHAN ADMITS TO A LITTLE DRUG USE

Los Angeles, CA – In Hollywood stars rise and fall every day, it is the nature or the town. Fame and success simply do not last. Audiences age as do celebrities meaning that no one, no matter how bright and shining, can stay in the sky forever. It’s a cold,
hard reality of the business that many people have a very difficult time dealing with, especially the stars themselves who can very clearly recall how great life was when they were young, something now long gone.
Often those lost careers are also lamented by the fans who helped to make them into a success in the first place. They too wish for the spark that made them fall in love with the star in the first place and lament the aging visage presented on screen, not only because it reflects their own aging, but also because they genuinely want that thrill back in their lives. At the core of all of that is of course the talent that put the star in the limelight in the first place. The success and failures of the star are both a result of the things that made them big in the first place, something that is no doubt driving the current obsession with Lindsay Lohan and her ongoing personal dramas. Now Lindsay has finally admitted that at least some of those dramas are genuine, stating that she did in fact fail a drug test and that all her negative press is not the result of mean and malicious reporters.
“Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result,” Lohan tweeted on Sunday. “This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps....forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.”
Lohan faces further jail time as a result of breaking the terms of her probation.
“Lindsay Lohan should have been a big star at this
point in her career. Frankly she should not only be commanding big pay days but also
winning awards. Her talent was overwhelming in those early performances and there was no doubt in watching those that she was a star to watch,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “It’s really a shame to see how things have gone for her, how far down she has fallen. Every story you read about her is something harsh and nasty and revolves around her doing something terrible but it now appears that at there was at least some truth behind those stories. You’d hate to place all the blame on her but it does appear that she has played a role, even a small one, in her own downfall.”
Lohan was forced to wear a monitoring bracelet and had to report to substance abuse therapy as a condition of her parole.
“It really does appear that this is young lady with some significant problems however the press has made such a big deal out of these things that it’s entirely possible they have forced her into this difficult situation, forced her into a spot where the only way out is with drugs and that makes them just a culpable in her decline,” continued Temple. “Hopefully she will be able to get things back on track and ignore the toxic influence of all these other people who profit off her misery. This is just a sad situation all around and hopefully it will have a happy ending, a Hollywood ending that we can all enjoy.”
Lohan has reportedly checked herself into AA. A fresh arrest warrant was issued for the actress on Monday.
