THAT GUY FROM THAT MOVIE GETS ANOTHER ROLE
January 12 2011
Hollywood, CA – Everybody, absolutely everybody, has had more than a few moments in their lives when they couldn’t remember someone’s name. Whether it is an old school friend or someone they worked with five years ago for six months, the

story is the same; the face seems familiar but the name has slipped away. No matter how many times that happens, it’s always embarrassing, even though it happens to everyone, even those whose names have been forgotten.
That phenomenon is of course not isolated to just old acquaintances. Often faces pass in and out of our lives in more subtle ways, particularly for avid viewers of television and movies. Not a person in the world who has seen a significant number of movies has had the moment when, upon seeing some familiar face, they immediately try to recall where they know them from, what movie they were in before, or their name. Given the fickle nature of film stardom, that happens quite often. Many actors have built good lives and healthy careers playing that guy no one remembers, snagging bit parts in dozens or even hundreds of movies, but never quite standing out. Even starring roles occasionally bring about the lack of recognition, to wit, that guy from that movie about the red stapler who apparently just snagged a couple of new parts.
“Ron is very happy to have a role in these upcoming productions. Ron really likes the people he is been given the opportunity to work with and looks forward to a healthy and happy production. Ron will give the performances his all and make sure he does his part for the good of the production,” said a spokesperson for the actor. “Ron really liked the scripts and the people involved and so it made perfect sense to come on board the production. Ron is really excited and looking forward to a good time with the cast and crew and a great end product.”
The Ron in question is apparently Ron Livingston who starred in the stapler movie, ‘Office Space’, a few episodes of ‘Sex and the City’, and as Trooper #5 in ‘Halo: Reach’.
“It’s good that this guy is getting roles in movies. I remember him in something, I think it was that movie with the red stapler. That was so funny, that guy with the stapler, he like burned the building down. And the guy with the ‘Ohh’ face, that was so funny. Yeah, I should watch that movie again,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “He was good in it too I guess. Frankly, I don’t remember him all that well. I remember Jennifer Aniston was in it but she’s the only name I can think of. She really hasn’t been in much good outside of ‘Friends’ but I think she was good in that movie, as I remember it anyway.”
Aniston last starred in the poorly received ‘The Switch’ alongside the guy from ‘Arrested Development’.
“It’s funny that Aniston’s career hasn’t really taken off. I mean I get that it’s hard to transition from TV to film but lots of people have done it – Billy Crystal, Tom Hanks, George Clooney just to name a few – and she has all the characteristics of a successful movie star but it really hasn’t happened for her,” continued Temple. “Don’t get me wrong, she isn’t superstar material but she should at least be at Katherine Heigl level, I mean that really isn’t too much to ask but for one reason or another it just hasn’t happened. That and she still seems to be pining over Brad Pitt, poor girl. Hopefully things perk up for her.”
Aniston will next be seen in the sure-fire Adam Sandler hit ‘Just Go with It’.
