JUSTIN BIEBER PLOTS OUT FUTURE PERFORMANCES AT FLORIDA BOWLING ALLEY

Miami, FL – Every generation has its icons. Every generation has individuals who stand as cultural touchstones, who connect to a wide audience and become a common language. Often those icons are isolated to those generations, confusing to previous
generations and dull to future ones, making them a kind of proprietary element. Eventually though, those icons fade. The generation moves on, finds jobs and love and families, and leaves those individuals behind, relegating them to nostalgia, often expressed through ironic profile pictures and wine-fueled girls nights.
That is the eventual fate of all icons no matter how huge. They age alongside their fans, often trying desperately to regain some of their former glory before eventually succumbing to the reality of time and nostalgia. Just as it has happened to Paul McCartney and David Cassidy and Johnny Rotten and New Kids on the Block it will also happen to current icons, whether they are boy wizards, eccentric performance artists, or mop haired Canadian pop singers. Eventually time will pass all of them by, no matter their prominence or wealth right now. Still, for their time they are huge and being young they need not worry about the realities of the big, bad grown-up world that will eventually come their way. For now, they are still icons and should enjoy time
in the limelight. However one current icon seems to have a slightly different attitude and has already begun testing the waters at his inevitable future place of employment, on display at a Florida bowling alley.
“We are thrilled to have Justin Bieber here, at least in spirit. This is a great cause and is a great thing for us so it’s a win-win across the board, a strike one could say,” said a spokesperson for the Lucky Strikes Lane. “This lock of hair is very much an extension of Justin Bieber himself and so it is almost like we have him here. Hopefully one day we will see that entire head of hair here, but for now we are content with just this lock of hair.”
Bieber’s hair was recently auctioned off on eBay and all proceeds from the display will benefit earthquake victims in Japan.
“When we heard that the hair was coming here we immediately got the word out and 
actually had to go out and hire private security. The lines are unlike anything we’ve seen here, even bigger than half price coconut shrimp night which is a big deal let me tell you,” continued the spokesperson. “We hope that this proves to Mr. Bieber and his people that the Lucky Strikes Lanes in Miami are a viable platform, and that one day soon we will be seeing the man himself in our lanes. I think we could also arrange a few lanes for free and even half price on shoe rentals for his entire entourage. Justin, we can’t wait to see you.”
A spokesperson for Bieber said that the singer plans to visit the lanes in about fifteen years.
“This craziness over a lock of Bieber’s hair proves better than anything else how
popular he really is, how culturally relevant he has become no matter what critics may say about his music or his persona. The reality is that he is a big, big star whether people like it or not,” said
Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “There is no clearer evidence than this with people willing to line up for hours to see his hair in a glass case. It also shows that over the long run he will be able to push his brand even as his relevance fades. I guarantee that all those young ladies crowding into that bowling alley now will be more than willing to do the same in twenty years or so, dragging their kids on their hips and getting in a round or two between sets. This sets the groundwork for that and it will pay dividends in the future.”
Bieber’s hair will next appear at a spring festival in Nebraska before taking a summer county fair tour across multiple states.
