MAN KILLED OVER LIMP BIZKIT MUSIC MAY HAVE DESERVED DEATH

April 30 2011

Brisbane, Australia – No tow generations will ever totally agree on popular music. There are certain bands – The Beatles, Led Zeppelin – which do span multiple generations, but for the most part music remains isolated to the population to which korn
it was first presented. Occasionally the aggressive attitude by elders is a result of simple ‘old man’ syndrome, but occasionally it is spot on, with the current generations eventually realizing that the music they loved in their youth wasn’t really all that good to begin with.

Those are the follies of youth, and though many people retain a certain nostalgic attraction to those bands, the actual potency of the music often wanes to the point of irrelevancy or even ironic commentary. Every generation has those cultural artifacts, things that seemed so important in their time but simply vanish in relevance with age. That is something that many children of the late 1990’s are probably just fully starting to come to terms with as many of them settle into fully adult lives with mortgages, children and everything that comes with those things. Their passionate affection for the music of their era, defined for a long time by rap-rock hybrids such as Korn, has fallen away, causing many of them to finally realize what all those old people had been saying all along. Of course, not everyone grows up, as was apparently the case with an Australian man who met his demise to the hybrid sounds of Limp Bizkit.

“This was a horrible event, the likes of which I have never seen in my many years in the police. This man was brutally murdered for really little gain. One witness described the victim’s head having been squashed like a bug, which is very accurate actually,” limp bizkit band
said a police spokesperson. “Obviously there were a lot of underlying issues involved here, but we can confirm that the argument really began when the victim insisted on playing music that wasn’t to the other’s liking. This is not the type of behaviour that can be tolerated in our city, even if most people can sympathize with the feelings he must have had.”

It’s not clear which album was at issue, though as most critics note most of the band’s music sounds very much the same.

“I can’t comment on this from a legal or health issue but from a musical standpoint, it seems perfectly sensible. I mean bashing a friends head in and hiding the body is never a good thing, but it’s perfectly sensible to think that this type of incident could spark a violent reaction in someone,” said Scrape TV Music analyst Dylan Chambers. “I know myself that I have gotten a little more than upset when hearing their music. I mean it’s never gotten me the point of actually smashing a person’s head in, but it’s been a close on occasion. Quite close actually.”

No members of the band have been called to testify.fred durst

“I know that back in the day I destroyed a car radio once. Two stations, literally two stations, had a block of Korn and Limp Bizkit music on and I guess I was in a bad mood and bam, before I knew it the radio was dead. It was a factory radio, though it was still expensive to replace. A stupid move maybe, but I’ve never really regretted it,” continued Chambers. “Look, people can like what they want to like. I’m not one to judge and never will be but the insistence on playing Limp Bizkit, well I mean it’s likely that anyone who would want to blast that music loudly in this day and age would have other issues which in turn would help explain the rage he created in this other person. The music was likely only a symptom of something much deeper and much more malignant.”

A third roommate, a woman, survived the incident proving the accused didn’t do it for the nookie.
