Los Angeles, CA – There is no debating that being a rock star can be a pretty good gig, at least while a person is young. The sex, drugs, and rock and roll lifestyle is something just about every young man has dreamt about at one time, even though
very few even pursue such a life. Some though do pursue that life and achieve it, and through those people young men live vicariously, imaging a life with unlimited wealth and women, a non-stop party.
Of course there are downsides to such a lifestyle, particularly once a person gets older. Drugs and booze stop being fun and start to become burdens, sex with strangers doesn’t happen nearly as often and, perhaps most damaging of all, new generations stop caring about your music and your act and you slide slowly into irrelevance. Some acts are able to maintain a kind of nostalgic career, but those heydays are most certainly long behind them, leading to the inevitable greatest hits album and autobiography. While perhaps not the most notorious of front men, Sammy Hagar certainly had his time in the spotlight as the lead singer of one of the biggest bands of the 1980’s, Van Halen, and now he is dishing on those times in a new book and revealing for the first time the long-held secret of rampant alien abductions in the music industry.
“People say there’s no other life in the universe. But you know how big the universe is? It’s freakin’ huge! If we’re really the only ones out there, that’s scarier to me than thinking there are aliens. So, my whole career I’ve been writing about these kinda things. But they’ve never been the hits. They’ve only been the underground songs. If anything in the book has been played down, it’s my mystical side, because I don’t want to sound like I’m crazy,” Hagar told MTVHive. “That’s right. It was real. Aliens were plugged into me. It was a download situation. This was long before computers or any kind of wireless. There weren’t even wireless telephones. Looking back now, it was like, ‘(expletive deleted) they downloaded something into me!” Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment. ‘See what this guy knows’.” 
Hagar did not give list of other alien abductees though did hint that it was more common than previously believed.
“It is a long unspoken secret in the music industry but one that just about everyone who has any kind of time in the beast understands is a part of the game, that alien abductions of rock stars is actually fairly common,” said Scrape TV Music analyst Dylan Chambers. “There are a lot of rumours revolving around specific people by few of those have ever been confirmed, but the sheer number of stories indicates that it is more than just talk. This isn’t something they tell young artists getting into the industry, though some companies do work it into the recording contracts which of course are never read.”
Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue and Usher are among the other performers the target of frequent rumours.
“If this does prove to be true, and it would of course be very tough to prove as being true, it could completely blow the top off this massive conspiracy that has brought so many young people into the fold only to become unwitting subjects for these alien creatures,” continued Chambers. “Of course it would also prove the existence of life on other planets which would be a good thing. Hopefully though they are taking a wide selection of artists, I for one wouldn’t want aliens thinking ‘Why Can't This Be Love’ as the ultimate creative expression of humanity.”
Rumours of David Lee Roth, Hagar’s predecessor and successor in Van Halen, being the ring leader of alien abductions and an alien himself have been investigated and dismissed, by the music industry.
