SHARON STONE HAS RESTRAINING ORDER TAKEN OUT ON HERSELF

Los Angeles, CA – It may be hard for a many people to remember, and even more difficult for younger people to imagine, that at one time Sharon Stone was just about the biggest star in Hollywood. It was a brief flirtation with superstardom to be sure, 
but for that time, about a year or so in 1992, Stone was massive, both a movie star and a sex symbol that gripped the imagination of people all over the world. Poor choices, limited talents, and age all eventually caught up to her and eroded that status but for a time, Sharon Stone was on everyone’s minds.
Times have certainly changed for Stone. No longer and actress in high demand (even from high level talent including Martin Scorsese for an Oscar nominated performance in ‘Casino’ at her peak) and relegated to the wasteland that many older actresses fall into, Stone has become more a memory than a vital celebrity. Still, she occasionally pops into the public consciousness, generally with her own personal quirks with incidents such as criticism of earthquake victims in China or waffling claims about her high level of intelligence. Now Stone has become wrapped up in another controversy after obtaining a restraining order against an apparent stalker who insiders claim simply doesn’t exist at all.
“She got the order against this guy Bradley Gooden who is apparently claiming that he is the son of Hillary Clinton and that he wrote ‘The King’s Speech’ at the age of two years old. Obviously if that were the case he would have other things to do considering the Oscars are this weekend,” said a Stone insider. “Look, I’ve never seen him and she occasionally makes a lot of noise about stalkers but you have to understand that this is common. In the five years I’ve known here there have been about two dozen stalkers coming onto the property, saying strange things, but I have failed to see a single one as yet. I’m not saying they don’t exist but I’ve never seen them.”
David Seidler is the sole credited writer. Seidler is 73-years old.
“I love Sharon, I really do, but this is a little much. She has brought her staff into this time and time again and we have always had to attend to things but putting the legal system into the mix is something else entirely. This costs the taxpayers money and I don’t think that’s really fair, especially considering how little she has been contributing to the pool in recent years,” continued the insider. “I’m all for her getting attention and making a comeback because that would mean a raise but this is probably not the best way to go about getting new roles. Generally speaking Hollywood likes crazy when they like you, people like Charlie Sheen, but Stone has burned far too many bridges in her time and I think something like this will do more harm than good to her career.”
Gooden reportedly broke into Stone’s home on February 11, though he used keys and was apparently a tall blonde woman.
“I think it’s very unlikely that Stone will mount a comeback in any way. The reality is that the more time you spend out of the spotlight, whether by choice or not, the more difficult it is to start things up again. Kids who were conceived as a result of that interrogation scene in ‘Basic Instinct’ are now getting ready to go to college, that is a long gap and an entire generation that simply doesn’t know your name,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “That is an uphill battle and while something like gaining a stalker will certainly put back in the spotlight, there has to be at least a little veracity to the claims. That would engender sympathy and garner some attention that would help raise the star again, theoretically, and get more roles. I don’t think that will work in this case, but at least she will be safe from her stalker with the restraining order. Come Oscar night she will be safe and secure that’s for sure.”
Efforts to reach Gooden were obviously unsuccessful.
