CLINTON TELLS THAT JIVE TURKEY TO COOL IT ON HUMAN RIGHTS

July 19 2011

Istanbul, Turkey – For most people interested in such things, the election of Barack Obama was a major historical victory. He is the first President of African descent and that means something to a nation which has been so stained by its history. Obama bill clinton sax
won’t be, however, the last non-white to hold the office of the President and his election has likely a lot more to do with him being a deft politician rather than the American people wanting to right a distant wrong. It was colour-blindness that put him in office, not morals.

Obama’s Presidency will always be remembered because of his race. His policies and successes or failures almost don’t matter in the long view. For history, he was the first black President. For most Americans today, however, that title does not belong to Obama but rather Bill Clinton who was the first modern President to appeal directly to the growing black populace. Whether it was playing the sax on the ‘Arsenio Hall Show’ or his overtures to black communities across the United States, Clinton made people feel like he cared about them, regardless of skin colour. For some, Clinton was more of a black President than Obama. After all, he did grow up eating grits and collard greens. His wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has taken on much of that respect despite losing out to Obama, and has even taken the Clinton swagger around the world. Now she is Europe, telling that jive turkey to just cool that stuff down, like only a Clinton can do.

“People in the Middle East and North Africa are seeking to draw lessons from Turkey’s cab calloway
experience. Turkey’s history serves as a reminder that democratic development also depends on responsible leadership,” said Clinton in the largest Turkish city Istanbul. “I do not think it is necessary or in Turkey’s interests to be cracking down. It seems to me inconsistent with all the other advances Turkey has made.”

In particular, Clinton was talking about increasing restrictions on journalists and dissidents in the country, including the imprisonment of at least 60 reporters.

“Hil believes that this ain’t the way to do things and she told those suckers exactly that. She ain’t talking about telling flks what to do, she’s just talking about giving people the freedom, the freedom they want. It’s just ain’t proper you know,” said a Clinton insider. “Turkey ain’t coming on that tab though, you know. They got to do things the way they do but Hil, well she believe that just ain’t right. She thinks people got to have the right to slide their jib, you know, and she told them jive Turks exactly that cause that’s what a Clinto does, ya dig? She thinks Turks got the twister to the slammer and she wants to make sure it goes smooth, ya know, smooooth, but this is still a fraughty issue and it ain’t gonna be solved no time soon.”

Jive is the unofficial form of communication in the office of the Secretary of State, just as it was in the Clinton White House.black dynamite

“It’s a tough situation in Turkey to be sure. They are an evolving economy and an increasingly influential power player throughout Europe and the Middle East, yet they hold onto many of these conservative ideals that so permeate Islamic societies, despite being officially secular. Unfortunately it is a problem that doesn’t have any kind of quick resolution,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “Turkey is very modern in major cities like Istanbul, but the rural areas, which dominate the country, are still very simple and prone to the kind of religious conservatism that causes so many problems. That is going to be a major part of the growing pains of that country and something Clinton cannot resolve for them, no matter how she talks to them.”

Bill Clinton stopped visiting Turkey a number of years ago, citing the leadership as a bunch of Jivesters and un-Hep cats.
