HUGO CHAVEZ FIGHTS ILLNESS BROUGHT ON BY RAMPANT CAPITALISM

June 25 2011

Havana, Cuba – Hugo Chavez is ill. Not mentally ill, but physically ill in a Cuban hospital. The outspoken Venezuelan leader has been Cuba since early June after receiving emergency medical treatment. Now it has been revealed Chavez will remain in chavez
the country for another 12 days, sparking speculation that the leader may be far more ill than previously believed. That concern has many speculating that Chavez may in fact not return to the presidency, something the man himself says in no uncertain terms will not happen.

It is not yet clear what illness has been affecting the President -- some have speculated prostate cancer -- but Venezuelan officials have insisted that the leader is recovering and will return to office shortly. Chavez, never one to mince words, also came out swinging against critics who were predicting his demise, declaring his health and clearly stating that he was still in charge and would return to his homeland very shortly. Nonetheless, the illness has shown chinks in the armour of the strongman and started speculation, both outside and inside the country, that Chavez may indeed not be invulnerable as was once believed. However, officials inside the country, including Chavez’s brother, have been working hard to ensure the people that nothing has changed, and that their leader will defeat this illness which is a direct result of the decadent capitalism of the United States.

“President Chavez is recuperating satisfactorily. We are very pleased with his progress and we expect that he will return home with as much energy and love as he has always had for the Venezuelan people. This is not a blockade, this is an obstacle and hugo chavez with parrot
all obstacles can be overcome,” said Adan Chavez of his brother. “The doctors in Cuba are the best in the world and they have assured us that they have removed all traces of this illness from the President. Once he fully regains his strength these things will not be able to touch him again, and the rule of Capitalism will fall just as it was destined to do.”

Chavez himself assured people via his Twitter account that he was well and nearly ready to return.

“There is always going to be difficulty in a system where one person has made themselves so prominent and then are suddenly gone. That kind of cult of personality is a dangerous thing because when the person is gone, as always happens, there is a vacuum and that can be dangerous,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “Obviously in this case they have an obligation to themselves to spin the story as positively as possible, but it still brings up the question which few have asked before. Ultimately, Chavez will go away and someone will have to fill his spot. He appears to be recovering from this bought of whatever it is, but that may not be the case the next time around.”

Chavez underwent emergency surgery on June 10th to remove a pelvic abscess.

“Luckily for him and for the people of Venezuela he appears to be coming back. Luckily, scrooge mcduck
whatever Capitalist induced illness that afflicted him appears to have been excised and he will be able to return to work leading his nation. That doesn’t answer the real important questions, but it puts them aside for the moment,” continued Hander. “For the next little while he will be able to focus on defeating the ills of Capitalism for everyone else. He has had his bout, but that may only make him stronger and more determined to wipe the disease out of his country and possibly beyond which makes talk of succession just that, talk.”

Chavez reportedly rejected capitalist-made pain medication while in the hospital.
