PRINCE HARRY CONTINUES FAMILY TRADITION BY SPENDING BILLIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE’S DOLLARS

London, U.K. – It has been a long time since the Royal Family of the United Kingdom had any real power. At one time, and for a long time, they were the most powerful single entity on the planet, controlling more land than any other nation in history and determining the future of entire continents, but that hasn’t been the case for a long time.
Now the Royal Family is little more than a tabloid entity. True, the Queen does have technical power, a legal standing in the U.K. and in a dozen other nations around the world, but she cannot exert any real influence. She cannot make decisions for anyone, not even her own family who have in recent years become celebrities, particularly her two grandsons.
That was very clear with the marriage of Prince William earlier this year, and the regular exploits of his brother Harry who has become a bit of an and off hell raiser in the finest tradition of his forbearers. Recently, though, Harry has calmed down and fallen more in line with the family persona, including spending billions of pounds that once belonged to other people on things he feels are necessary, in keeping with the best of the family tradition.
“The final total was a little over 15 billion pounds, or a little over 24 billion dollars. That is a high, the largest total ever generated by a Royal in recent times to spend on other things. Harry is very glad he was able to do this, not only for the cause but also because he was able to beat his brother,” said a Royal insider. “Harry is very satisfied with the result and he expects that it won’t be long before he is able to spend the money. There are still some legal issues to work out but once they are resolved it will be free and clear.” 
Harry raised the money on behalf of a charity for his pet nation of Lesotho, which will undoubtedly be long indebted to the prince and the family after the expenditure. Brother William had a similar venture last year, just a little shy of Harry’s total.
“It’s a grand effort and Harry simply cannot wait to start spending. The Queen is very pleased as well, in particular because it is Harry. There was some concern that he might go off the rails at one point but now here he is, spending other people’s money just as royals have done for generations,” continued the insider. “He won’t take any of this money himself, of course, because he hardly needs to do so. The Royal Family never takes a salary, they merely administrate the funds and spend them on things they believe the people would desire, things such as paintings, sculptures, and private planes. That is what will likely happen here, though some will go to the country, they will need to rebuild the Empire after all.”
Lesotho gained independence from Britain in 1966, but no one expected it to last very long.
“Keep in mind that the GDP of the nation is a little over 3 billion dollars so this fund could easily buy the nation. There are other issues of course, but by making the children happy they will grow to have a good feeling about the Royals and simply agree when Britain comes calling again, that’s the way these things are done in the modern world,” continued the insider. “Barring that, Harry will simply continue to spend as much of other people’s money as he possibly can. This charity thing can only go on for so long after all, eventually it’s the spending that’s really important.”
Harry will spend taxpayers money on a flight and hotel in Lesotho when he goes to deliver the cheque.
