150 DEAD IN NIGERIA RUINS KIM KARDASHIAN TRIP TO COUNTRY

Damaturu, Nigeria – At least 150 people were killed on Saturday in a series of terrorist attacks in northern Nigeria. The attacks, which included the bombing of a government building and a shooting spree, devastated the region and sent the area into lockdown.
It’s believed the attacks are tied to a group of radical Islamists bent on killing Christians throughout the country. President Goodluck Jonathan vowed to crack down on the culprits and to investigate the attacks with due vigilance.
The attacks are believed to have been a factor in the Kim Kardashian’s decision to not visit the country as she tries to escape media attention surrounding her recent divorce filing. Kardashian recently returned to the United States after leaving a job in Australia to try and avoid the attention. Insiders, though, indicate that while she had considered hiding out in Nigeria, the increased media attention because of the attacks have forced them to cross that off the list.
Nigerian officials reportedly tried to assure the Kardashian clan that the media attention is nominal and that it will weaken within a matter of hours, to no avail.
“It was a suicide bomb attack at one of our buildings. The attacker came in a Honda CRV and rammed into the building and explosives exploded,” said a government spokesperson. “The President has directed security agencies to ensure the arrest of perpetrators of these heinous acts.”
The 150 person death toll is just an estimate, a common way of determining death tolls in Nigeria.
“Kim just really wants to get away from things. She is very sympathetic to what has been happening in Nigeria and she wants the people of that country to know that her heart is with them, but she just needs to take care of herself right now,” said an insider with the socialite. “She does not want to get in the way of what they need to do. Besides, she is very uncomfortable around blood.”
It’s not clear if Kardashian herself made the call or if she was prompted to do so by her mother and manager, Kris Jenner.
Jenner reportedly has strong ties to terrorist organizations throughout Nigeria but it is not clear if she is connected at all to the Saturday incident.
The Boko Haram sect has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
“Events like this really detail how dangerous the world can be for international celebrities. Even in an ideal situation an event such as this has to shake up their faith in the security of the planet and other countries. Events like this will almost assuredly keep celebrities from ever visiting,” said Scrape TV International Conflict analyst Mario Martinez. “No one wants to see bodies piling up like that, especially on the news. That type of scene will likely prevent any celebrities from wanting to visit either now or in the future. Hopefully both the people of Nigeria and Kim find some kind of peace very soon.”
Kardashian instead has gone to Minnesota where two cars were stolen on the same day as the Nigerian massacre.
