THE U.S. LAUNCHES NEW WAR IN UGANDA IN BID TO TAKE AFRICA ONCE AND FOR ALL

October 15 2011

Washington, D.C. – Few people, if any, in Africa have known a life without conflict. War, tyranny, and crime have all been pretty much standard fare for the life of the continent no matter which area people live in. While some countries are relatively peaceful, that peace is truly only in relation to the other countries on the continent which suffer immensely. Conflict is the standard.us sniper

Already this year Northern Africa has seen three rebellions, one which has become an outright Civil War and now those fresh wars appear to be trickling through to the rest of the continent, and that has prompted the involvement of other nations, specifically the United States.

The U.S. has dispatched 100 soldiers to the continent, in Uganda, to aid the struggling government in that country overcome their own rebellion. While small by U.S. standards, the military force is the first in the nation and could easily lead to a wider expansion of the conflict, prompting a new war for the United States and the possibly the best chance the world has ever had of finally taking control of the dark continent.

“The LRA are not a professional army as such, as a lot of their soldiers are abductees, they're children, they're also not as well-equipped as they were in the past,” said a White House spokesperson. “These combat-ready soldiers will assist the Ugandan Army in tracking down the leaders of this group but will not lead the fighting themselves.”

Many leaders of the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) have been indicted on war crimes already. crazy gun

It’s not clear how many more forces the U.S. will dedicate to the cause once the conflict deteriorates and American lives are lost.

“This problem in Uganda isn’t exactly like the other rebellions. This group has been around for a long time, for more than two decades, and has a rough reputation including murder and rape, which isn’t exactly in keeping with the noble intentions of the rebels in some of these other countries, which is what has likely prompted this action,” said Scrape TV International Conflict analyst Mario Martinez. “That said, there is plenty of rape and murder going on in other places too and there aren’t military forces in those countries. It is a strange about face for the Obama administration which has really stood with the rebels so far this year, but every situation is different I guess.”

Uganda recently discovered major oil reserves in the country, which could be part of the reason the U.S. has decided to wage war on the rebels.uganda army

“It has become clear that the United States is very interested in Africa, much more so than previous administrations and that could lead to great things for the people there, or very dark times. The history of conquest on Africa is not great and there is no reason to assume the U.S. will be any different than any other power which has tried,” continued Martinez. “It’s great that they’re trying even if their loyalties seem a little disjointed, but sometimes trying to do things in Africa can be even more dangerous than actually accomplishing them. Maybe if other countries like France and Britain help out they could tame the continent. Maybe help is all they need.”

The U.S. has reportedly started to move warships to the west coast of the Africa.
