U.S. FEARS ATTACK ON IRAN BY ISRAEL WILL BE OFF THE HOOK

New York, NY – There may come a time, somewhere in the future, when we look at this period of time in the Middle East as the calm before the storm, a kind of peaceful and long-lost time. That may be the case because there is growing concern that, despite all the backing down in the past, Israel might actually be ready to strike against Iran in the coming days and weeks.
With an IAEA report due any day, a report which is likely to detail the ongoing nuclear program of the Iranian government, many U.S. officials are concerned that the Israelis will finally step up and launch an attacks against Iran, an event which could cause a spiralling of tensions in the region that could potentially cause a full scale war.
While officials work behind the scenes to try and calm tensions, many are concerned that things may be past the point of calm and rational discussion and that in the next few days Israel could very well launch an uncontrolled, uncontained, unorganized, and totally unstoppable attack against Iran that will totally off the hook.
“Unfortunately we kind of expect it at this stage. It’s not a matter of if, but of when and how bad it will be. Israel has really just been looking for the opportunity and Iran is more than willing to give them that in spades,” said a U.S. government insider. “This things will be totally off the hook. The fight is being taken to them you know. This thing, man it’s going to be big and explosive and there ain’t no stopping it anymore. It’s going to bad, both bad bad and good bad. You wait and see.”
Israel has long protested the nuclear program in Iran, fearing that it will be aimed at Israel which it probably will be.
It’s not clear, given the instability in the region, what type of response other countries will have to the attack if any at all.
“Things are tough in that region right now, obviously. There’s a whole lot of tension going around and no one, no one really knows where that’s going to go. No one wants to be the one to make predictions cause they could just make you look the fool, you know. Things could go easy or they could go real bad real quick,” continued
the insider. “Nobody knows nothing at this stage and these two, man, these two are so out of touch with the rest of us that they could just go nuts, you know, like totally off the hook. It’s gonna be rough, you can bet on that. Rough and tough and taking no prisoners.”
Israel is the likely bet for a win, at least in the short term.
“This is potentially a very bad situation and it really can’t be overstated how potentially damaging a war between these two groups could be. The only good thing is that all the other countries in the region are having their own troubles and that means that none of them are likely to get involved. Well, that and the fact that none of them really like Iran much either,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “It could be that the other countries will just sit back and watch it happen, or not. They could get involved and that could cause more problems. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Maybe Israel won’t do anything, like they usually do.”
Iran, it appears, ain’t scared, not one bit.
