VIDEO SHOWS DECEASED GADDAFI LOOKING BETTER THAN EVER

Tripoli, Libya – The long national nightmare is over for the people of Libya. Muammar Gaddafi is dead and never coming back. His decades of rule and the recent Civil War he inflicted upon his people have resulted in a final resolution for the dictator, one that has much of the world applauding. Gaddafi is dead, killed by the rebels, and no amount of eccentricity will change that.
Now comes the rebuilding of Libya, something that could never really have been done with Gaddafi alive somewhere in the world. With his death the country will now be able to move on and while it will certainly endure a great deal of growing pains, at least it has the freedom to have those pains.
In the short term, though, the celebrations will continue. A long-earned party for the people of Libya who have finally freed themselves from a madman, evidence of which has been spread all over the world in a video showing images of the deceased dictator being paraded around by rebels. A video, it should be added, in which Gaddafi looks more alive than he has in years despite the bullet hole in his head.
“This is great day for Libya. The beast is dead. We celebrate his death and the freedom of the Libyan people,” said one rebel fighter upon hearing the news.
“He is dead, he is dead, and the people are free. Long live the people of Libya,” said a local resident.
Indeed, celebrations have erupted throughout the country. The video, showing graphic images of Gaddafi’s body being pulled through the streets, has been disseminated throughout the world. Many at first doubted the news after seeing the video, saying that the Gaddafi simply looked far more healthy than he had in years.
“I can confirm that Muammar Gaddafi is indeed deceased. We have confirmed this killing through multiple sources that have confirmed, no matter what the video may show, that Gaddafi is indeed deceased and that any interpretation of him being alive is simply false,” said a spokesperson for the interim Libyan government. “We understand the need for people to create falsehoods and engage in conspiracy theories but we can assure you that Gaddafi is indeed deceased. We do agree that he looks better in the video than he has in many years, but the bullet holes are clear evidence to us that he is in fact gone.”
The video of the body was uniformly condemned as being of really lousy quality.
“It really is great day for the people of that country. There is no debate that if Gaddafi had stayed alive that he would have cast too heavy a shadow over the country as it tried to rebuild, aside from any potential efforts he would make to actually retake the nation,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “It really is a shame that they weren’t able to capture him alive and put him on trial, which would have been a great vindication for the people of that country, but this was still a very undignified way to go, no matter how good he looked being dragged through the streets covered in blood.”
Gaddafi apparently doesn’t look quite as good after the dragging the beating the body has taken.
