GADDAFI FORCES SEIZE CONTROL OF TIME MACHINE AND SOUTHERN TOWN

Tripoli, Libya – Flying their green flags in the face of defiance, forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi seized the town of Bani Walid, about 20 kilometres south-east of Tripoli. The town had been under control of pro-government forces since October when the bulk of the fighting ended in the country.
The taking of the town is seen as minor threat to the fragile new government in the country and a sign that not all regions in the country will be easy to unite under a new leadership. The town had long been loyal to Gaddafi forces and was one of the last towns to surrender as the conflict in the country started to draw down.
Gaddafi forces vowed to continue the fight and called on other Gaddafi forces to continue fighting, even asking for Gaddafi himself to continue fighting. Muammar Gaddafi was killed in October and has been buried since shortly after his death. It’s not believed that the rebel forces have found a way to resurrect Gaddafi from the dead, but it is believed they purchased a time machine from a merchant in Bani Walid and now believe they have been transported back in time by about six months, which clearly is not the case.
“They control the town now. They are roaming the town. They are calling for Gaddafi to continue the fight from Tripoli and continued to act as though he is still in charge. The rape is everywhere, at least at the same levels it was when Gaddafi was in charge,” said one government fighter who fled the town. “They seem to be protecting this one particular truck which apparently carries their time travel device which they believe will lead them to victory.”
The time travel machine is rumoured to be a simple analog clock attached to block of wood painted black. It’s not believed that the device has any ability to move people or objects through time.
It’s not clear if anyone has told the soldiers that they are in fact in the present, not that past, though most people would likely risk rape by saying such a thing, or at least more rape.
“It’s very clear to everyone outside that small group of people that they have not actually travelled back in time. They are here, in January 2012 not October of 2011. It’s obvious that they have been sold on this time travel device which simply doesn’t work, but that doesn’t make them any less of a threat,” said Scrape TV International Conflict analyst Mario Martinez. “When it comes to war and warriors it almost doesn’t matter if what they believe is accurate, what matters is that they believe it themselves and that can become a rallying point, which in this case at least has led to military success.”
It’s not clear if all members of the division believe they have travelled back in time, nor if they will attempt to travel even further into the past should their success in Bani Walid be short-lived.
“Time travel would certainly be a dangerous tool for bad guys of any description, dangerous and more powerful than anything that has yet been created. It would also be tough to acquire, if it is even possible, which makes it unlikely that it could be found in some bazaar in the wilds of Libya,” continued Martinez. “Anyways, it’s clear that these people don’t have a time machine. They are here, today, and not in the past. The real danger lies in them thinking they are in the past, that is what is keeping them motivated and still very, very dangerous.”
At least one soldier, Ahmed, has continuously used the time machine to rape a particular woman for the first time over and over again.
