ISRAEL GETTING REALLY EXCITED ABOUT POSSIBLE WAR WITH IRAN

Jerusalem, Israel – For years Israel has been the subject of vitriol and attacks by Iran, decades really. Most of those attacks have not been direct but instead through proxies in Lebanon and the Palestinian territories, but it has always been Iran behind the scenes. Israel knows that, Iran know Israel knows that, and really the whole world knows that. Iran just likes to attack Israel.
The motivations, the real motivations, not the vague ethnic or religious conflict that goes on between the two countries, is amorphous and vague, at best, and may never really be resolved unless of course they actually engage in a real war. Well, that day may be coming sooner rather than later particularly after recent efforts by Iran to step up their nuclear program.
Israel is, of course, the most direct and obvious target for those eventual nuclear weapons. While there are few people who really believe that Iran will use the nukes against Israel, just having them makes them into a major threat and removes the trump card that Israel has always had, which is military superiority. For Israel, nuclear Iran is a disaster even if the bombs can’t fly and they are eager to do something about, even giddy at the notion of attacking Iran, if only the United States will let them out to play.
“It is the policy of the Israeli government, and the Obama administration, that all options remain on the table. And it is crucial that the ayatollahs in Tehran take this policy seriously,” said Michael Oren, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, dramatically understating the Israel excitement about a possible war.
The officials U.S. policy has been to avoid military conflict with Iran, something Israel has opposed in the past but seems to be warming to in recent weeks, at least so far as they are telling the Americans.
Harsh economic sanctions, as well as obvious interference such as assassinations, have slowed the Iranian program down dramatically, giving Israel plenty of time to build up their military might.
“Israel seems primed for a war. They haven’t had one, not a real one anyways, in a long time and even those were really cakewalks. They fight a lot but a real war with a formidable opponent is something Israel has never really had and so understandably they are chomping at the bit,” said Scrape TV International Conflict analyst Mario Martinez. “Every other country in the world gets their wars but Israel just sits on the sidelines, being told what to do by the U.S. and that really isn’t fair. If anything it’s only increased their appetite for war, made them more eager.”
Most countries across the globe have engaged in a war or two since modern Israel was founded, Switzerland aside.
“Israel has had these small wars, seven days or whatever and they are really good at crushing people’s homes and killing poor people, honing their talents, but a real war with a country that can actually fight back, that is something different and something Israel has never really had for itself. It’s about time really,” continued Martinez. “I guess the only issue right now is whether or not the U.S. will let them out to play. Understandably they are hesitant, not only because of the volatility of the situation but also because they have spent so much time waiting that they might go a little overboard, be a little too eager, and that could have serious consequences throughout the region. You can’t go from zero to a hundred when it comes to international warfare, you have to take a little easier than that.”
People throughout Israel have been eagerly stocking up on gas masks and blood, anticipating action at any time.
