RUSSIA AND CHINA JUST LIKE SEEING BLOOD RUNNING IN SYRIAN STREETS

February 5 2012

Moscow, Russia – As was the case in Egypt and Libya, pretty much the entire world is opposed to the events currently going on in Syria. NATO and Arab League countries have joined together, in what has become a routine now, to condemn the violence and called for President Bashar al-Assad to step down and end the violence, something he has steadfastly refused to do or apparently even consider.kremlin

That alliance, that unified voice, along with all the obvious bloodshed in the country, should have been enough to gain support from the United Nations Security Council but yesterday a motion to call for an ouster of the leadership was show down, vetoed by China and Russia.

For both countries Syria has been a significant trading partner and though it’s clear that those days are long over, one way or the other, the leadership in both countries appears unwilling to ditch their former partner. That had been the long-standing assumption behind their continued support of the Assad regime, but now new evidence has started to appear that that support may be rooted in something else entirely, specifically their desire to have women and children slaughtered and for blood to colour the streets of every city in Syria, just for the hell of it.

“There are many concerns with which we had regarding the council proposal but of course the biggest of these concerns was the one that would cause the violence in Syria to end. This is not what we see as a best resolution to these events. We believe that the people here need to fight this battle and only then will they understand what they have,” said an insider with the Kremlin. “Ours is a country which has been built on revolution and bloodshed and that is something we could like to see with other people. It has made this country much stronger and will do so for Syria as well.”assad putin

China, it is believed, just wants to reduce potential competition and has little in the way of footholds in Syria at the moment.

It’s believed that the failure of the resolution to gain acceptance will likely result in more massacres along the lines of the 400+ who were killed in Homs on Friday.

“We like to see these actions and we believe they will make the country and the people of the country stronger. Perhaps not the people who have been decapitated, but most certainly the people who survive these actions and events, which is what we wish,” continued the insider. “We remember very clearly the revolutions which made our country great and these are not things that anyone should forget. We do not believe that anyone should get off easy from these types of events and that the people of Syria will be better off with all the death and blood they are enduring right now.”

Russia has sent a small allotment of body bags which it’s believed were burned by the Syrian government, who said it was the rebels, leaving bodies on the street in Homs.blood in the streets

“One day all this violence will end and people will realize that it was the best thing for the people of this country and it was something that needed to happen,” continued the insider. “We expect the violence to continue for as long as it needs to continue and that once it is no longer needed it will end. That is what we expect and the people of Syria do not need us to tell them that.”

The United States and other NATO allies have politely disagreed, but it’s done now.
