MILLIONS OF CHINESE MEN UNLIKELY TO EVER GET LAID AGAIN

January 12 2010

Beijing, China – The long and storied history of China has of course been marred by bouts of great difficulties. Even in recent years with the invasion and brutalization by Imperial Japan and the subsequent rise of Communism and the mass murders of the cute chinese woman
Cultural Revolution that nation and her people have suffered enormously. Those difficulties though may pale in comparison to what awaits the country in the very near future as it takes its place as one of the major power players in the world.

That major challenge facing the nation is, at least in part, a direct result of the prosperity that the country has been enjoying but will likely cause some of the greatest challenges to that success very shortly. At issue is the one-child policy that was first initiated in 1979, limiting couples to one offspring without special licence. That, along with long held cultural beliefs that value male children over female, has resulted in a massive discrepancy between the sexes that will leave millions, as much as 24 million, without the ability to marry by the year 2020. Alongside the concerns that those numbers will lead to a plummeting birth rate, the mere fact of so many men unable to have sex, ever, will lead to social disruption the likes of which the country has never seen.lonely chinese man

“The chance of getting married will be rare if a man is more than 40 years old in the countryside. They will be more dependent on social security as they age and have fewer household resources to rely on” said Wang Yuesheng a researcher with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences to the Times Online. “It also means that many young men will end up being frustrated and that will likely lead to increases in crime and other bad behaviours. Men over 40 will have more or less given up, but men between the ages of fifteen and thirty-five still have some hope and that will only be met with frustration, which will result in serious issues for law enforcement.”

Researchers are hoping that Darwinian principles will start to take over resulting in the least aggressive burdened with virginity.

“What we hope is that as many men start to realize the situation and how dire it is chinese couple
they will start to become more aggressive in seeking out mates. The more passive people that in the past would simply have played it soft hoping to end up with someone just as docile will now either be forced to become aggressive or be out. Those who stay soft are much less likely to cause major problems,” continued Wang. “That is the hope and the plan but we must be prepared for more aggressive men ending up frustrated and therefore problematic. I’m sure we the country will be able to deal with those issues but unless we act soon the issues could multiply and become issues for future generations.”

Because the policy remains in place and popular, the disparity between the sexes is likely to continue well into the future. Because of strict internet restrictions in place throughout the country, relief will be hard to come by for many men.overweight chinese boy

“The one-child policy started with the best of intentions and was really necessary in order to maintain strength and growth across the country. There is only so much room after all. Unfortunately by coupling that with the existing prejudice towards males and the legality of abortion an entirely new mess has been created, or at least will be in the very near future,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “This is a very sticky situation the country has been put in and something that really should have been foreseen and dealt with more aggressively.”

The Chinese government has reportedly put millions into paper tissue infrastructure.
