NAZI TWINS FIGHTING NAZI PAST

Candide Godoi, Argentina – Multiple births have long been fascinating for both medical science and the general population. For science, the phenomenon helps to shed light on the basics of human reproduction and child rearing. For the layman it is

the unusual idea that an exact replica of themselves could exist and a wonderment at the unique advantages and disadvantages that having a duplicate could pose. From hit television shows and movies to tales of bizarre connections between siblings, the fascination with twins and other multiple births is something will continue to fascinate for a long time to come.
While many people know one or two sets of twins there are certain places in the world where such multiple births are far more common and are in fact the norm. Such is the case in a small Argentinean town called Candide Godoi which boasts twin birth rates at 1 in 5, whereas the world’s average is about 1 in 80 in the general population. Science has yet to discover exactly why towns like Candide Godoi exist, though many do across the world from Nigeria to Romania, but theories such as environmental factors or the abnormal presence of certain hormones have dominated. For Candide Godoi though one theory rules above all others and it’s one that the people of the city seem a little too eager to put to rest.
“I think Candido Godoi may have been Mengele's laboratory, where he finally managed to fulfil his dreams of creating a master race of blond haired, blue eyed Aryans. There is testimony that he attended women, followed their pregnancies, treated them with new types of drugs and preparations, that he talked of artificial insemination in human beings, and that he continued working with animals, proclaiming that he was capable of getting cows to produce male twins,” wrote historian Jorge Camarasa in his book ‘Mengele: the Angel of Death in South America’. “Mengele found refuge in the German enclave of Colonias Unidas, Paraguay, and from there, in 1963, began to make regular trips to another predominantly German community just over the border in Brazil – the farming community of Candido Godoi.”
Of course the resident of the town aren’t all that happy with their apparent Nazi past and have pursued input from medical and scientific experts to try and shed new light on why so many twins occur in the city.
“Because of these rumors that Mengele was there, the population gets very upset about it. So some leaders of the community asked the university to start a project to try and understand why this place has such a high incidence of twin births, said geneticist,” Lavinia Schuler-Faccini of Brazil's Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Su to National Geographic. “That said there is a significant German population here and many of the people in this town are fair featured, very much like the Aryan ideal that Mengele and Hitler tried to create. The science behind why these twin happenings continue to occur is most definitely limited but that does not mean that such scientific explanations are the reason for this. It very well could have been Mengele and we have to consider that possibility until we have an alternate explanation.”
It’s not exactly clear why people of the town are so interested in rejecting their Nazi heritage aside from the general dislike of Mengele and other members of the party for their butchery of millions of innocent people.
“It seems that they have made a very significant effort to reject this notion that they are somehow descended from the Nazi Eugenics program. True, many of these twin births happened long before Mengele ever arrived in South America, but that doesn’t prove anything, it just bolsters their argument,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “Until the science is in we are simply going to have to accept the reality of Mengele’s presence in that area of the world and the very distinct possibility that he had a hand in this. People may not like it but until we have another answer we have to assume that’s correct.”
One other option being considered is the possibility of a ‘Village of the Damned’ kind of scenario where all the children of the city are aliens bent on destroying Earth.
