AHMADINEJAD DECLARES IRAN THE MIGHTIEST COUNTRY EVER

Tehran, Iran – From the beginning of nation building there have always been leaders who have declared theirs as the most important or most powerful on the planet. In some cases that proved true. Macedonia, Greece, Rome, Mongolia are just a few of 
the nations that have justifiably laid claim to the most powerful nations on the planet, at least for a time. For much of the twentieth century many nations, Germany, The Soviet Union, and The United States all vied for that crown with the latter ultimately coming out the winner, though with caveats.
Though the U.S. is possessed of the greatest economy and military in the history of humanity, their influence has been markedly less significant than empires of the past. Across the world a great deal of equalization has come to pass meaning that even small nations are formidable enough to withstand great nations. Event like the Vietnam War or the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan are just two examples where the great nation has been brought to a stalemate by an opponent that is by all accounts vastly inferior, something Alexander the Great or Genghis Khan never experienced. Now one more nation whose history is riddled with greatness has once again stepped to the plate and declared themselves virtually invincible, old U.S. nemesis Iran.
“Iran's army is so mighty today that no enemy can have a foul thought of invading Iran's territory. Of course, Iran is a friend and brother of regional and independent nations and it wants peace, progress and security for all countries,” said Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. “Iran now steps forward as the great nation, as the mightiest nation in the world capable of resisting attack from any force who would dare to challenge us. Iran will not bow to the pressures of outsiders who seek to determine our future, just as they would not bow to such pressures themselves. Iran stands now as the great nation ready to resist all challengers.”
Ahmadinejad specifically challenged the world on the ongoing debate over that countries nuclear program which has continued despite global pressure.
“The harsh reality is that in the modern age battles between nations have taken on a
totally different reality. In the days of the Mongolian empire for example the gap between military tactics and weaponry was massive meaning that conquering another nation could be accomplished relatively easily, but that just isn’t the case anymore,” said Scrape TV International Conflict analyst Mario Martinez. “A bullet is a bullet and while one country may have more than another ultimately all you need is enough to kill the opponent. Catapults Vs Bows provides one side with a significant advantage but that gap simply doesn’t exist anymore meaning that unless nuclear weapons come into play every conflict will be fought to a stalemate. In a nation like Iran that is even more true because they have such a formidable military.”
Iran has the greatest number of troops in the world, about four times that of the United States. The U.S. has significant advantages in terms of military equipment and spending.
“It would be hard to say that Iran is the strongest nation on the planet or that they are indestructible in some way. I mean ultimately Rome fell, it happens but there is no doubt that they are very formidable. Of course there is also the chance that they have developed some other method that would make them invincible like perhaps some giant dome over the country,” continued Martinez. “That would certainly go a long way towards ensuring their security providing the bubble couldn’t be cracked by an enemy assault. I guess we will have to wait and watch over the coming weeks and months to see whether or not they do deploy some massive shield.”
Most nations, even those opposed to Iran, admit that a giant dome over the country would be really cool.
