MYANMAR TRYING TO BUILD NUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR SOME BIZARRE REASON

June 11 2010

Naypyidaw, Myanmar – Without a doubt nuclear technology is the most powerful and most fearsome power that mankind has yet unleashed on the world. Though the splitting of atom has many positive effects, much more than negative, it is the castle bravo blast
negative that grabs the attention of most people. Even those whose houses are powered by nuclear fuel, who have family members who have been cured of cancer, shudder at the word nuclear and the fearsome potential that the technology has when used in war.

Naturally, that power over people has made the technology a very desirable one. With only a handful of nations actually possessing nuclear technology on any scale, and even fewer with weaponized versions, the contest over nuclear weapons has become one of the most prominent and dangerous games in the modern era. Though it is expected that major nations such as the United States and Russia have and maintain stocks of those weapons, it is the rise of smaller powers such as Pakistan, North Korea, and Israel that has increased the drive to achieve nuclear domination. Seeing peer nations with nukes has inspired many a smaller country to seek the technology and some, like Brazil, South Africa, and Iran have been or are currently on the brink of owning such weapons. Now one more nation has thrown its hat into the nuclear ring with Myanmar reportedly seeking nukes for some totally incomprehensible reason. Bizarre. myanmar than shwe

“The junta is still too far from developing a nuclear weapon because they are using very primitive technology but they are working toward that goal," Burmese advocate Khin Maung Win told the Washington Times. “The country has very few of the basics of survival at this time and so their nuclear program is far behind nations like say Iran but they very much want the technology. To be frank I don’t know what they would do with them if they had them but there you go.”

The military junta has ruled the country since 1989 and bled virtually all wealth and resources from the nation. They have no major external opponents.

“The reality of Burma is that no one is really concerned with them at all but obviously myanmar parade
the guys in charge feel like they have someone to impress. Sure they are surrounded
by nuclear powers but that doesn’t mean that they are looking to attack or anything. India has her own problems and China would take over if they wanted to, nukes or not. Perhaps they are scared of Laos,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “Perhaps they simply don’t understand that they can’t use nukes on their own people. If they detonate these weapons inside their own country they will kill themselves. Perhaps someone should give them a manual on nukes so they understand what they really are and what they are used for. They are there to intimidate and no one really cares what they do.”

Myanmar, or Burma, is considered amongst the worst places in the world to visit and foreign tourism is discouraged with rifle butts.nuclear blast

“The whole point of having nukes is that you have to have something to either prove or something protect and Burma has none of that. No one is even interested in stopping the gross human rights violations going on there so they aren’t going to suddenly start paying attention now that they seeking nukes, Hell, China will just invade and be done with it,” continued Hander. “There’s something to be said for smaller countries trying to equal the playing field but nations like Iran and Israel are playing on the same field. Burma only exists on a map. What a bunch of tools.”

Officials in Myanmar reportedly saw fireworks for the first time late last year and that apparently sparked their interest in bigger and bigger explosions.
