CHINESE OFFICIALS: UFO WITNESSES DID NOT SEE ANYTHING

Hangzhou, China – For centuries man has looked into the night skies and marvelled at what lies beyond our world. The last few of those centuries have cast more light onto the mysteries of the Universe but even today we are still on the precipice of 
discovering what secrets the Heavens protect. Our success in conquering our own planet has not thus far translated to the world beyond, but with what little we do know of the Universe, we know that major threats do exist.
Most of those threats are in the form of naturally occurring phenomenon. Asteroids, meteors, solar flares, supernovas, and quasars are just a few of the many dangers inhabiting the beyond. Since the beginning of our modern acquaintance with the Universe there has been one other omnipresent threat that many have feared, alien life forms. While few scientists will debate the likelihood that life, intelligent life, exists somewhere in the Universe there has yet been no evidence that we have ever encountered such beings. No matter what Science Fiction authors and Hollywood tell us, aliens are not among us nor are they likely to be so anytime soon. That appears to be the case in China which reportedly has been the scene of a number of mysterious lights over the last few days, something the government has steadfastly denied and ensured that no other witnesses will claim otherwise.
“I stared at it and it did not move. After hovering for an hour, the thing started to fly higher and finally out of people's sight. People from all over have been seeing the same things and we know that they are from another world,” said one witness who abruptly disappeared. “These were not planes or helicopters. These things must be from another world because they do things that our vehicles cannot do. We have finally been visited from another world.”
The most recent sighting was the second in a week and was documented by Shanghai Daily for non-Chinese readers.
“No conclusion has yet been drawn. We've received orders to shut down the airport until the sky is cleared but that appears to have changed. We have no knowledge of anyone seeing any strange lights in the sky or anything out of the ordinary. All airport traffic is as normal as it has always been and that will not change in the near or distant future,” said an official for the airport near the reported sighting. “All planes have kept their schedule. Any reports of lights in the sky are a result of erroneous gestures and mania amongst the people. We are constantly monitoring the skies and nothing out of the ordinary has yet appeared nor will it be appearing anytime soon. The skies over China are free from any objects other than planes and birds and that will not be changing anytime soon.”
The airport was closed after the reported incidents but officials claim that the shutdown had been planned well in advance.
“For centuries, literally before we had flying machines, people have been seeing strange lights in the skies but they have never turned out to be alien life forms, yet anyway. There is no evidence in history nor any verifiable experiences in the modern age that would lead us to believe that aliens have been or are currently visiting Earth and that essentially means that it simply hasn’t happened,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “While it is entirely possible that aliens will someday visit us, it has happened yet and that is something the Chinese government is getting right. That doesn’t mean that those light weren’t in the sky, it just means that they aren’t lights from another planet.”
Chinese officials have updated their reaction to the lights stating that no lights in the country, whether in the sky or on the ground, are a result of anything but will of the people of China.
