IRAN JUST ABOUT READY WITH THE NUKES

June 30 2010

Tehran, Iran – Ever since they first came on the scene, nuclear weapons have been the single most sought after military tool in history. For decades the only supply was controlled by a very few countries but in recent decades have started to proliferate hiroshima bombing
around the world. Nations that were either not around or in very nascent states – Pakistan and Israel most notably – have long had the bomb proving that virtually everyone can have them. While the major players of the 20th century, the U.S., Russian, U.K., China, and France have held the nuclear card for decades, the recent explosive growth in demand is rapidly expanding that boys club.

With India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea all very much nuclear powers and the cost of nuclear materials and expertise dropping rapidly the spread of the bomb is very much in full force. Now with more access nations such as South Africa (for the second time), Brazil, and most notably Iran have been actively pursuing nuclear weapons with an eye to finally equalizing the gap between the have and the have-nots. Now according to CIA documents Iran is pulling ever closer to being a full-on nuclear power and may even have enough fissile material to build two low grade weapons already, provided they can keep things together and work hard.leon panetta

“Iran probably has enough low-enriched uranium for two nuclear weapons, but it will likely take two years to build the bombs. I am doubtful that U.N. penalties will put an end to Iran's nuclear ambitions. It could help to weaken Tehran's government by creating serious economic problems. Will it deter them from their ambitions with regards to nuclear capability? Probably not,” Panetta told ABC. “There is some debate as to whether or not Iran will proceed with the bomb but the possibility is there. I would imagine that if they are able to remain patient and stick it through they will be better off waiting until they have more material and build some more formidable weapons.”

Israel, the nearest nuclear neighbour, has been very vocal about not allowing Iran to join the club.mahmoud ahmadiejad

“For a long time there were really only two major players in this field, the U.S. and Russia. The U.K. joined a little later which was okay and then France a few years after that. Everyone was a little hesitant with them but they do have a long and respectable history so whatever. China though was the real game changer,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “They kind of came out of nowhere. They had been a growing power but for the first half of the century they were a backwater and no one thought they would be able to come on so quickly. Once they joined the club, much to the chagrin of the more elite nations , everyone seemed to feel like they had a shot which is why you saw Israel and even South Africa joining up. I mean South Africa, c’mon.”

The South African nuclear program was abandoned in the early 1990’s before signing the Nuclear Non-proliferation treaty in 1991.bob omb

“Look, Iran is not a regular country. They have a formidable economy, military, and infrastructure system. We can look at their politics and their behaviour towards their neighbours but they aren’t a nothing. It’s not like its Finland or Mali or some other meaningless country. They are a significant world power so it makes sense that they are looking to join this very elite club,” continued Hander. “A lot of people are upset with this possibility but people felt the same way when Pakistan and North Korea were pursuing them and that turned out alright. I think this is a lot of hullabaloo over nothing and eventually they will get over their prejudices and embrace the Iranians into their special little club.”

Iranian President has reportedly already borrowed a fancy jacket from Kim Jong-il who just happens to wear the same size.
