UKRAINIAN AUTHORITIES CHALLENGE ZEUS AND BRING DEATH TO US ALL

Kiev, Ukraine – There has rarely been a time when going against the status quo was embraced in its time. Often those who challenge commonly accepted precepts are pushed outside of society, minimized for their behaviour and beliefs, and forced to 
operate outside the normal world. Just as frequently, those people are also the ones who change the world. People like Copernicus and Galileo suffered tremendously in their lifetimes, only to be redeemed by history. Such stories occur over and over again and likely will continue to do so in the future.
Of course challenging legal authorities can bring a lot of injury and damage to oneself, but defying the Gods is something else entirely. While no solid evidence has ever been presented to prove the existence of immortal beings, the fear of defying the Gods have for centuries worked to keep people unconcerned with corporeal punishment in line with social order. Now though it appears that Ukrainian authorities have run into a mess that fuses both forms of social defiance, defying the Zeus ring that has reigned over the criminal enterprises throughout the country. While initially being hailed as a major victory for law enforcement, many are concerned that the challenge to Zeus’ authority may bring uncalculated destruction in response.
“We are very happy that we have made these arrests. Many people have been charged in these cases which have caused great damage to individuals. We estimate that this criminal ring has taken more than $200 million U.S. dollars from individuals over the last few years, mostly through computer viruses and other technological means,” said a Ukrainian authority. “Alongside our partners in the FBI we have managed to challenge many of these people to face the authorities and the duty of justice. This must serve as a warning to all those who would seek to take what things from people who rightfully and legally own them, particularly in Ukraine. They must now know that Ukraine is not joke.”
Earlier in the week authorities in the United States and the United Kingdom conducted a series of raids resulting in charges against 92 people also involved with Zeus.
“In drama and in religious history defying the gods is never a good thing. It brings 
death and destruction to individuals and even entire towns and cities. Because they have ultimate power there is little a mortal man can do to challenge the authority of those all-powerful beings. Any attempt to do so inevitably ends in trouble,” said Scrape TV Religion analyst Bertram Gas. “It’s not clear that this is the case here. It could simply be that the organization named themselves Zeus and that they have no real connection to the ethereal realm. However if they do, then it could mean a lot of trouble and not just for those involved. Zeus has never had the reputation of being a particularly understanding God.”
Zeus himself led a successful rebellion against the Gods which allowed him to take the throne of Olympus.
“There is no record in all the dealings with the Olympians that they respected rebellion simply because they achieved success with it. In fact, they were known to be particularly brutal when it came to dealing with challenges to their authority and there is no reason to assume that this case will be any different,” continued Gas. “Likely, it will mean that the world will be visited with untold levels of destruction. Floods, earthquakes, plague, you name it. Zeus is not one to be toyed with and if this is his doing, this organization, well he is just not going to be happy and will make everyone else feel the same way, guaranteed.”
A severe lightning storm was reported in Kiev shortly after the arrest though it’s not yet clear if the two incidents are related.
