GEORGE CLOONEY SEEKS TO END SUDANESE CONFLICT AND GET THE GIRL

Khartoum, Sudan – George Clooney has certainly taken an interesting path to success in Hollywood. From a famous family, Clooney started the hard way to stardom, through television. For most wannabe stars television is the last resort, the 
place to go when dreams of stardom die. Often that proves to be the case as well with only a few actors being able to break away from that medium and into movies. For almost everyone of those success stories though none became true television stars and appeared so prominently in so many big shows as Clooney. Yet somehow, he still became a star.
When he finally broke away from television and into movies Clooney became an instant star, drawing big projects and attracting the attention of big Hollywood players. Quickly Clooney settled into a routine that seemed to work, a routine that in many ways reflected his television success, playing alternatively the numbskull and the gruff and reluctant hero. Whether as a smirking criminal or as a determined sleuth, Clooney has made a career out of being the suave, stumbling, and generally successful hero that made stars of yesteryear such legends. Now Clooney has taken that well earned stardom and applied it to the real world, engaging in a real life spy program against the regime in Sudan, a plan which many expect will be successful and ultimately get him the girl.
“We are the antigenocide paparazzi, we want them to enjoy the level of celebrity attention that I usually get. If you know your actions are going to be covered, you tend to behave much differently than when you operate in a vacuum,” Clooney told Global Post magazine of his high tech plan which includes spy satellites and field reporting. “We want to let potential perpetrators of genocide and other war crimes know that we're watching, the world is watching. War criminals thrive in the dark. It's a lot harder to commit mass atrocities in the glare of the media spotlight.”
Clooney has visited Sudan a number of times and become one of the most vocal critics of the regime and the ongoing genocide in the country.
“Often in Hollywood there are people of great conscience who do little or nothing to aid their causes. They understand the issues but partially out of fear of not being 
taken seriously and partially out of concern that their personal status will be affected they do nothing to affect the issues that are on their minds. Luckily George Clooney is not one of those people,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “Perhaps it is his upbringing or perhaps there is a reason he has chosen all those spy roles. He is playing those characters out in real life in this case and while it may or may not have a real impact on the situation there he is at least pushing in the right direction. Hopefully it will work out for the people of Sudan, but more importantly hopefully it will work out for Clooney and we can have a great end to this story.”
Clooney has been married before but over the last decade or so has become one of Hollywood’s most notable bachelors.
“Obviously genocide is something we should all work to prevent and avoid and Clooney is doing something real and tangible about the situation there, more than can be said about the governments of the world. Much like his many characters, Clooney is going up against the man, swimming against the tide for what he feels is the right thing to do and hopefully it will work out for him like it does there,” continued Hander. “I think just about everyone would like to see him married. He’s seems like such a nice guy and he should have happiness. He seems pretty happy with his newest girlfriend but we’ve seen where this has gone before. I guess only time will tell.”
Current GF Elisabetta Canalis has reportedly been intermittently supportive of Clooney’s efforts in Sudan due in part to personal connections with the government of the country.
