HOSNI MUBARAK FEELING ALL ALONE AFTER RULING PARTY QUITS COUNTRY

February 5 2011

Cairo, Egypt – If nothing else comes of the recent unrest in Egypt, the display of power by the people have shown definitively that no matter the will or arrogance of rulers, the people ultimately still own their countries. While such uprisings may be egypt riots 2011
difficult in more complicated and more oppressive nations, though there are few as oppressive as Egypt, the events in that country have very much put leaders across the world on notice, showing that if the people will it, they will have it.

Of course the events over the last two weeks are not simply philosophical or historical events, they are motions that impact the real lives of real people for now and for the future. The future will determine how these fateful days eventually play out, but for some the last two weeks are enough for now. There will be winners and unfortunately losers in these events and while the people of the country will most certainly win a great deal, those who have dedicated the majority hosni mubarak sad
of their lives to public service appear to be on the losing side. Specifically, the biggest loser of the bunch may well be Hosni Mubarak whose thirty years of dedicated service to his country appears to be at an end sooner rather than later, particularly after the resignation of his ruling party has left him totally alone in the world.

“Mr. Mubarak had been very upset by all these events. He understands the will of the people and understands that ultimately the country is theirs, but he feels he deserves better after having served the nation for so long. Between his military service and his leadership, Mr. Mubarak has dedicated more than sixty years to the nation and this is not the end he envisioned,” said an Egyptian insider. “He feels that he is all alone at the top, left abandoned by his party and his cabinet and this saddens him very much. Still, he will soldier on as he has done all these years.”

Mubarak announced last week that he will not seek re-election in September, just shy of his thirty year run as President.hosni mubarak egypt

“He feels treated unfairly in many ways but he is determined to see things through. The people have elected him into office and he intends to see out the term despite all these obstacles. The worst thing for the country and for democracy would be to not listen to the will of the people,” continued the insider. “Mr. Mubarak values above all else, above even his own need to be around people, the will of the people of Egypt. His dedication and service to the nation more and prove this and he wants those who voted for him, 88 percent of the country mind you, to know that their President will remain and that the democratic process will remain in Egypt despite his personal trials.”

The leadership of Mubarak’s party, the NDP, resigned on Saturday.hosni mubarak sullen

“This is without a doubt the most trying time in the modern history of Egypt. Perhaps not as trying as in the day of the Pharaohs’ or under the rule of the Ottoman empire or even the assignation of Anwar Sadat but this is truly a momentous occasion in the long history of the country, and Mubarak is at the centre of it,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “One truly does need to feel sorry for him, being so put upon in all of this. He was after all elected by the vast majority of the people to rule the country, and now he is being pushed out despite that and despite having ruled his country with such a tight iron fist. This is what the people voted for, this is what he gave, and now he is being abandoned because of it and that is truly unfair, the equal of Amenhotep himself.”

Mubarak is apparently consoling himself with the millions of dollars the people have given him over the years for his service to the nation.
