ANN COULTER LOOKING TO SUNBATHE AT JAPANESE NUCLEAR FACILITIES

March 20 2011

New York, NY – Ever since the public first became aware of nuclear technology in the 1940’s the world had feared its awesome power. Though nuclear fission is a completely natural occurrence and our use of it is only a harnessing that power, like nuclear detonation
we have done with fire and electricity, nuclear power has become a boogeyman, a danger in our minds far more than it is a danger in reality. While there is little debating that exposure to nuclear radiation can cause severe illness, the actual chance of such exposure is extremely limited.

However, that is not the case for much of Japan right now. As crews continue to deal with the dying nuclear plants in the north there are great fears that toxic levels of radiation have already started to spread, not only across the country but even across the ocean and potentially around the world. For the vast majority of people those levels of toxicity are not nearly enough to cause serious illness, but they may be just enough to ann coulter smiling
resolve some other ailments if conservative pundit Ann Coulter proves to be correct. In a new column Coulter has investigated and is promoting radiation exposure as a cure for virtually all ailments, even going so far as to advocate rolling around in radioactive waste to sustain a long and healthy life.

“I’m citing a stunning number of physicists, from the New York Times and the Times of London, there’s a growing body of evidence that ah radiation in excess of what the governments says are the minimum amounts you should be exposed to are actually good for you and reduce cases of cancer,” Coulter told Bill O’Reilly. “But the point is the media will not report this because a, it's not sensationalistic to say, 'oh, humans are going to have two heads' and b, it's an antinuclear power effect.”

Coulter did not go so far as to say people should be dosing themselves with radiation, though did agree with O’Reilly that people would benefit from sunbathing at the dying Japanese nuclear plants.

“There is no doubt, absolutely none, that radiation can be a beneficial tool in fighting
certain ailments. The reality is that it is used to fight thing like cancer though that is fukushima daiichi nuclear plant
usually done under controlled and very specified environments, prescribed by medical professionals. In terms of using radiation as a medical supplement it is probably unsafe to be self-medicating,” said Scrape TV Medical analyst Dr. Phillip Waites. “There has certainly been some studies that show in certain circumstances higher levels of radiation, outside these specific medical applications, can have a positive effect on the short term health of certain individuals without causing other damage. Those situations however are limited and one has to be very cautious when coming in contact with any kind of radiation. Going just a little overboard can result in cancer, death, or worse.”the toxic avenger

It’s not clear if Coulter herself has any plans to visit the damaged reactors or has ever dosed herself with radioactive materials.

“Unfortunately exposure to radiation doesn’t have the type of effect that we see in the movies, spawning extra limbs or superpowers. Mutation of cells can occur but unlike those fictional portrayals the cells tend to mutate into cancer. Instead of super strength a person’s skin will start to flake off, they will have seizures and start to haemorrhage, not exactly heroic,” continued Waites. “In the end the way we need to look at it is that the risks associate with rolling around in spent nuclear rods are much higher than the benefits and that this is probably not a good idea for the average person.”

In rebuttal, Coulter has blamed the media for the lack of superheroes resulting from nuclear exposure.
