IRAN TO PRODUCE NUCLEAR WEAPON WITHIN TWO MONTHS

Tehran, Iran – Ever since the first nuclear tests in the 1940’s the race has been on. The race wasn’t to create nuclear weapons, the race was always to prevent the other guy from producing nukes. In the early days it was the Germans, and then the
Soviets, and then the Chinese, and on and on it went. That race has been successful in some countries, Japan, South Africa, and Brazil in particular but has been a failure in some of the more volatile regions of the world.
Whether it is North Korea, India/Pakistan, or Israel the proliferation of nuclear weapons in treacherous areas of the world has provided a consistent problem for the guardians of the planet, most of whom have their own weapons. In recent years the biggest thorn in the side of nuclear combatants has been Iran whose quest for the bomb has become almost messianic. Eventually, most assumed, Iran will have the bomb or Israel will start a war. That has been the static line for nearly a decade now but such an eventuality was always in the future, somewhere down the line. Now though it appears that future has arrived with word that Iran is only two months away from having a nuclear weapon which they will likely use to kill millions and millions of people.
“At its current rate of uranium enrichment Iran will likely have a bomb within eight weeks. They have suffered a number of setbacks but despite that the regime has been moving steadily towards a bomb and unfortunately there is nothing the U.S. or 
any other force can do to prevent that, outside military occupation,” said Gregory S. Jones of the RAND Corporation. “This assessment is based on the most recent findings of the IAEA. With the enrichment at the levels they are now, it will be about two months before they are ready with a nuclear warhead which could then be easily deployed to any of its neighbours.”
Jones recommended full military occupation of the country, which isn’t seen as likely given the current election cycle.
“There is no doubt that Iran having a nuke is a serious threat to stability in the region. Even if they don’t use it against anyone it will upset the delicate balance in the area. God knows no one wants their neighbours, particularly Iraq and Afghanistan, to be upset and agitated. Things are going so well there,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “A more powerful Iran will impact the community at large and that is something no one wants. It’s also possible that they will use the bombs on other countries and kill millions of people, which of course no one wants. Well, I mean Iran wants it, particularly if they’re Jews, they really don’t like the Jews. I’m sure they would like to drop a bomb on them.”
Israel has long been the most active in trying to prevent a nuclear Iran. Israel has had nuclear weapons since at least the early 1980’s.
“The presence of nuclear weapons in the world has always been a complex issue. 
Proliferation has both prevented and promoted further proliferation. Ultimately however it has become clear that having nukes is a power option, and all countries want to have that power option whether directly or through partnerships. Because Iran has been so isolated from the rest of the world they were left with little options but to pursue their own programs,” continued Hander. “Now that may end up creating a massive catastrophic event that could eventually bring about a nuclear winter and the end of humanity. Admittedly, that is the extreme scenario, but it is possible. Unfortunately, it appears that such an eventuality is not only unstoppable but fast approaching. Perhaps they were right about 2012 after all.”
Iran has reportedly told local printers to not bother drawing up plans for 2013 calendars.
