JAPANESE MILITARY ON GUARD AFTER NUKE WORKERS STEP IN RADIOACTIVE WASTE

March 25 2011

Okuma, Japan – There is little that can be said about the ongoing disaster in Japan that hasn’t already been said. The massive death toll, the damage to infrastructure, and the ongoing nuclear crisis that has rocked that country two weeks ago has left a fukushima daiichi nuclear plant destroyed
massive scar on the country and likely changed the way the entire world prepares for and deals with such crises in the future. While the events may not bring about a dramatic paradigm shift, they have certainly forced a lot of people to re-examine things we had taken for granted.

In particular, the focus for change has been on nuclear power. While the disaster at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant is certainly not the worst that has occurred, and heroic efforts have certainly contributed to that, the terror that has been created as a result of the radioactive disaster has likely changed public attitudes towards nuclear power forever. While some of those fears are certainly warranted, the reality is that no one has yet died as a result of the problems at the plant and only a few have been significantly sickened by exposure to radioactive material, at least until now. Word has now come out of Japan that two workers at the plant have been hospitalized after wading into a pool of contaminated water, exposing them to radiation 10,000 times higher than normal, and possibly turning them into the radioactive freaks everyone has been fearing. japan nuclear emergency workers

“I will confirm that two employees did accidentally wade into a small pool of contaminated water whil working at the plant on Friday. This gave them a much higher level of exposure than is considered safe and they have been hospitalized in order to receive treatment,” said a Japanese government spokesperson. “I want to stress that this was an isolated incident and we have taken new precautions to ensure that such an incident does not occur again. All of our workers are functioning in very trying circumstances but we are still very much focussed on their safety and security.”

Reports indicate that the two workers are being treated at a nearby hospital which is being guarded by a detachment from the Japanese military.

“We are very concerned, many people are concerned, about the possible side effects apocalypse family guy
of this level of exposure. Traditionally our primary concern with this degree of exposure is of course sickness and organ shut down, but they did not come to us with expected symptoms and that has us all very confused,” said a hospital insider. “They did not seem totally alert and they seemed to want to get free of the stretchers. It took a number of people to keep them restrained, both seemed to have an extra level of strength and other things we would not expect. We have not seen clear evidence yet that they have developed any specific mutations and these things may be a result of adrenaline, or at least that is what we are hoping.”

Like many workers at the plant, the two sickened workers have no close family or friends.toxic avenger

“It is very unlikely that any level of radiation exposure would create a kind of superhuman freak. Traditionally exposure to high levels of radioactivity results in illness and death in all animals, nothing like we tend to see in the movies but that doesn’t mean it isn’t possible I suppose,” said Scrape TV Medical analyst Dr. Phillip Waites. “Medical science would of course preclude such a thing from happening of course, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t possible. The world does have many mysteries we have yet to uncover and so it may be best that they take precautions rather than risk monstrous freaks from taking over the country, and possibly the world.”

Mysterious men wearing sunglasses and dark suits have also been spotted around the hospital.
