PILOT AND PASSENGER PULLED FROM WRECKAGE OF WWII PLANE NOT SURE WHEN THEY ARE

May 19 2011

Dorset, U.K. – There has been, and likely will be, no event in human history as studied and scrutinized as the Second World War. That conflict was, beyond doubt, the biggest in our long history of warfare and because of that, it has been a world war 2 bombing
touchstone for virtually everyone who has lived since it ended. Eventually it will, as all old wars do, fade into history but the deep scars and long term impact of the war will be felt for all time. In that war, the world shifted forever.

Like everything though, potency fades with age. Each new generation removed from that time sees the conflict with less and less vitality, more as history lessons than real events, causing it to diminish gradually. For some though the war is very much a real thing, for some it wasn’t some abstract which changed the path of global history, but something which affected their own personal destinies, a thing which changed their lives. That group is diminishing of course and will eventually be gone entirely, letting the war recede into history, but a recent event in Britain has brought that conflict into the modern age, reminding everyone of just how dangerous perilous those times were. That event was the downing of a WWII era plane in a modern field in Dorset, with some very confused passengers.

“It went into a spiral and then the engine cut out. I thought they were going to swoop down and start the engine up again but it just nose-dived towards the ground. It went behind some trees so I didn't see it crash but there was an almighty bang. I was expecting a big explosion but luckily the plane didn't catch fire,” one witness told the Daily Mail. “It was horrible to see - truly awful. I never thought I would witness something like that in my life. It was something I hope to never see again.”world war 2 pilot

One of the passengers of the de Havilland Tiger Moth was killed in the crash. The second is currently in hospital, apparently very confused about his surroundings.

“We have begin a thorough investigation of this incident. We have closed off the area around the farm where the crash occurred and we have experts on the scene. We are also waiting to question the survivor of the crash who is stable condition but who is very confused about his situation. When he settles down a bit,” said a spokesperson for the local police. “This is obviously a delicate situation but we want to ensure the public that all precautions that can be taken are being taken. We do see this as an isolated incident and we do not expect any further events such as this occurring in Dorset or any other part of the country. We will make further statements when we have more information.”

According to hospital insiders, the survivor has been very unsettled and demanding to be returned to his plane in order to return to his own time.dr who david tennant

“We hear about stories like this all the time, though primarily in fiction, and so it is strange to see it come out like this so prominently. Usually these types of events are kept hush-hush by the government and then they return to their own time and everything goes back to normal. Obviously he’s going to have trouble travelling in that plane,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “I guess that’s a result of our modern world. There are cameras everywhere and it’s hard to keep a secret. If they had been able to keep this quiet they could have sent him back, but now that doesn’t seem likely. Hopefully he didn’t play an important role in the war. Of course there would be no way for us to know anymore. Time travel is a funky thing.”

The survivor is apparently also demanding to see his family. It’s believed his grandchildren will be slightly older than him.
